Life was getting busy with Harry's new job, practicing for Regionals, and the normal homework and school classes. Harry was happy with this new life he had produced for himself. It made him feel more independent knowing that he was self-sustained, and he didn't need his parents' money.

But along with Regionals practices, they still had the regular Glee assignments. Sometimes they were a little boring, but nine times out of ten they were fun. And this week Harry hoped this one was going to be good.

It was Tuesday, so Harry walked into Glee practice after school. He sat down in his usual spot next to Ginny, but she wasn't there yet. Harry didn't have the best day at school today, and he wanted to see Ginny so badly.

Lots of people said hi to him, in which he replied with a just as enthusiastic response.

Then Ginny walked in and sat down, making Harry smile.

"Hi!" she said, pressing a kiss to Harry's cheek, and sitting down. She scooted her chair closer to him so she could talk to him easier.

"Hello, how are you?" Harry said, all the events from the past couple of days now flooding his memory, and making him question his tone.

"School was boring today, but I knew there was Glee club after, so it was better. What about you?"

"Good," he said, not wanting to give much detail. He looked away from Ginny

"Are you okay?" she asked, concerned for Harry.

"Yeah, fine," Harry replied, still with the same energy, and still not looking at her.

Ginny turned away, obviously hurt, and scooted her chair back to where it originally was.

Harry felt bad, but he didn't really know what to do, so he just kept looking forward and ignoring Ginny, screaming at himself to apologize, but not finding the motivation to do so.

Mr. Schue walked in the room, taking Harry's mind off the situation.

"Hey guys," he said, putting down his bag and grabbing a marker, and writing a word on the board.

DUETS

Everyone started clapping, including Harry.

"Duets," Mr Schue said, turning around at the same time, giving the word more effect. "So, today were doing a repeat of last years assignment, with a slight twist. Instead of picking your partners for the duets, I'll be drawing your partners from a hat."

Everyone started looking at each other and seeking their options for partners, then Mr. Schue continued.

"Also, we do have another prize this time." He ran into his office, then brought up a piece of paper. "It is another dinner for 2 at BreadstiX."

The class cheered again, and Harry turned to Blaine, who was on his other side.

"This sounds fun!" he whispered to him, and he nodded.

"You just have to hope you get paired with someone tolerable."

"I've got the hat right here, so we can draw partners right now," Mr. Schue said, interrupting their conversation. He drew the first two names.

"Quinn and Finn!"

The drew two more.

"Santana and Sugar!"

Then, he kept going until none were left.

"Joe and Artie!"

"Rachel and Rory!"

"Harry and Puck!"

Harry whipped who's head to where Puck to was sitting, and they made eye-contact. Puck rolled his eyes, then looked away. Harry slumped down, then kept listening to Mr. Schue.
