Chapter 10

2 week later

We were all home and nothing in the house was gone. I hid the flash drive in a piece of wood down in the basement. Meredith had a brace on her wrist. Her knuckles were bruised. We were fixing our bed after we got up from our sleep. I told my family that I was alive and Amelia is coming down tonight because tomorrow is Mer and I's anniversary.

"I still can't believe how you tackled this guy" I laughed

"Why is it because I'm a woman" she asked

"No. No I'm not misogynistic, I'm just saying you, like-" I said and she was staring me down

I decided not to speak because she looked like she could kill me. I fixed the pillows and walked over to her. She slammed me on the bed and held my arms above my head.

"Ooo I like this" I smiled

She smirked at me and let go.

"Let's go practice. I'll show you" she said

"Mer your pregnant" I said

"That's pregnancy discrimination" she smiled

"Well I'm not going to practice fighting with a pregnant woman" I said walking with her

"Then I'll do all the work" she smiled

She grabbed my arm and brought me downstairs. Sh walked over to the closet and pulled out two foam pads. They looked like wrestling pads. No, no they were. She laid them out in front of us.

"Meredith" I said as she got into a stance position.

"Derek come on don't be a baby" she said

"No I'm not" I said and she dragged me

She flipped me over her back and I fell on the ground. I slammed my back on the phone.

"Meredith don't" I said

"What you can't take the heat from a girl. Come on get up" she said waving her hands for me to get up.

"No Meredith I mean it" I said and she took my hand

She pulled me up.

"Ok you wanna go" I smiled as I held my hand out

"Come on" she said

I walked over to her and took her hands. I took her to the ground, but made sure not to hurt her. She wrapped her leg in mine and flipped us over. I face planted in the foam pad.

"You're sexy when you're nefarious" I mumbled in the foam

I made her in a vulnerable position. I flipped us over and held her arms above her head. We were both out of breath

"Kiss me" she said

I smiled and leaned down. I kissed her lips and let go of her arms. She put her hands on my cheeks and flipped us over, not breaking the kiss. She was on top of me. She broke the kiss and straddled my waist. She started grinding against me

"Meredith" I said in a moan

I put my hands on her waist and the door opened. A kid started running down the stairs and she rolled off of me.

"Mommy" Ellis said running to her

She jumped in her arms

"Ow" Meredith said

"Are you okay" she asked

"Bailey took my toy" Ellis said

"We'll get it back, you're a big girl" Mer said tickling Ellis a little

"I give you permission to do whatever you need to, to get your toy back" she said

"No. No" I interrupted knowing how this little girl would beat her brother

"Ellis would you like me to help" I smiled

"Yes" she whispered

She was still a little shy around me. I got up and she put her hand on mine. I grabbed it and looked back at Mer. I started smiling trying to to scream inside. Ellis and I walked back upstairs. We walked up again and went to baileys room.

"Bailey give your sister her toy back" I smiled

"She took mine" he said

"Okay well you guys play with each other's toys and when you're done switch" I told them

"Ok dad" Bailey said

"Ok" Ellis said

I nodded and went to check on Zola. All honesty I know you aren't supposed to be mine, but she is definitely mine. I love her to death. I mean I love the other ones, but Zola is special. She was coloring, so I didn't want to bother her. I shut her door and walked downstairs. Mer was eating popcorn

"Popcorn" I smiled

"Yes you have a problem?" She asked

"No just curious" I said

She smiled and threw a piece at me

"Hey" I smiled

She threw another

"Oh don't you dare" I laughed walking to her

She kept throwing them and I grabbed her waist. I walked her back into the counter and slammed her by accident. She rested her hands on the counter and I heard the loud gulp coming from her. She looked at me up and down and I was eying her lips so much. I wanted her, so bad. I let her go and she stayed there.

"Tomorrow. All day" she whispered walking away

She was talking about our anniversary because Amelia was taking the kids.

"Mer" I said

She turned around and I walked over to her. I rubbed my hands up and down her sides under her shirt. I put my hands on her shoulder and brought her shirt down a little. I slowly went down to her clavicle and started sucking on it. I started biting a little. I went up to her neck and sucked on it. I started sucking all over her neck and she put her hands on the back of my hair. I bit a little causing her to moan softly. I sucked down her jawline and got to her chin. I opened my eyes and backed up. I put my thumb on her chin and looked up at her. She looked down at my lips. I opened her mouth a little with my thumb and slowly leaned down. I started sucking on her lips. She started tugging on my hair and she put her tongue down my throat. I wrapped my hands on her hair and our tongues collided together. She walked her back into the island which was close. I pressed my body against hers and wrapped my arms around her back. I turned her to the side and leaned her down. I started kissing her more and pulled her back up. We broke the kiss because we were out of breath. I licked my numb lips wanting to taste every bit of her. Her lips were red and I realized I left some hickeys on her clavicle as well as slight ones on her neck. She sat up on the island and I walked in between her legs. She put her hands on my cheeks and leaned down. She kissed my lips and wrapped her arms around my back. I wrapped mine around hers. We hugged for what felt like forever because neither of us wanted to break it. Until I got a call. I broke the hug and grabbed my phone.

"Derek" Amy said

"Amy what's up" I said

"I'll be there in an hour" she said

"Ok see you then" I said hanging up the phone

I looked at Mer

"Is everything okay" she asked

"Yes Amy's going to be here earlier than expected" I smirked

"Oh" she laughed

She jumped off the counter and grabbed her popcorn. We sat together on the couch for a little bit as my hand rested on her little baby bump.
