Chapter 49

She turned over and I kissed her cheek. I buried my head into her back and started having these nightmares. My mom came back. Her face was bloody like someone sliced her. She put her hand on me. I shook awake and Mer was looking at me with her hand on my chest.

"You were screaming" she said

"What" I said wiping my forehead

I was sweating. She took her hand off of my chest.

"What's going on" I asked

"I keep having these dreams about my mother" I said

"Do you want to see her" she asked

"I mean I don't know. I think it will help but I don't think I can see her mentally like that. It'll break me" I admitted

"We have to pack today before Bailey's baseball game and we'll leave to Seattle right after" she said

"Yeah" I said

"Think about the ferry boat rides over there. I know you miss them" she said

"I do" I smiled

"Go back to sleep" she whispered burying her head into my chest and resting her hand on my stomach

I kissed her head and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and Mer was in the shower. I stretched a lot. I waited for her to come out of the bathroom. She finally came out with a towel around her head and body. She started changing.

"We have awhile" I said

"I'm way too sore" she laughed

"Oh right supergirl" I laughed

She rolled her eyes and started smiling. She put a red t shirt on and black pants.

"We have 2 hours to get ready" she said

I got up and grabbed suitcases. We started packing our clothes. I grabbed a bag and went into Haley's room. I packed a bunch of her clothes and grabbed her baby bag. I took them downstairs. I went into Ellis's room and packed her clothes while she was in the shower. I brought the bag downstairs and came back up to Zola's room. Mer was packing her clothes. I packed Lexie and Baileys clothes. I went into my bathroom and took a quick shower. I brushed my teeth and walked out of the bathroom. Mer was downstairs with Ellis and Zola. I fixed my hair and put my red and white hat on. I put my red coach shirt on and tan pants. I walked out of the room and went to Bailey's room.

"Hey you need to get ready for your game" I said

He woke up a little.

"Im nervous" he said looking at me

I walked over to him

"Hey it's okay to be nervous. Just try your best" I said

He got up and I left the room. I went into Lexie's room. She was sitting on her bed. I changed her into a red shirt and black shorts. She ran out of the room. I left and went into Haley's room. I changed her and put a red onesie on her. I brought her downstairs. Mer made a bunch of bowls of cereal. The kids were eating.

"I took the bags to the car" she said holding her hands out

I handed Haley to her

"I'm gonna go feed her" she said walking to the bathroom.

Bailey came down with his baseball bag. We all ate cereal and went to the car. Mer came into the car and we all got buckled. We drove to the field Bailey was playing on. I left with Bailey to go to the dugout. His teammates started showing up. I grabbed my glove and put it on. I went to the outfield and we all started passing the ball around.
