The Quirk Marriage (Todoroki x Reader)

Sad ending!

The door slammed open, and we turn to see the saddened face of {Y/N}'s older brother. He walks backstage and waits for the curtains to close, before turning to us all and shaking his head slowly. 
Our hearts drop when, upon closer inspection, we see the dried tear stains on his cheeks and the swollen red eyes.

She was dead.

~5 years later~

Kirishima's POV

It's been exactly 5 years since she died now, and the class made it a tradition to visit her grave twice a year. Once on her birthday, and again on the day she died. 

The months following her death were the worst months we'd ever experienced, even worse than all the villain attacks we went through. 

Todoroki spiralled out of control, he completely shut everyone out for more than a year and threw himself into school and, as soon as we graduated, he threw himself into his hero work, securing his spot as the number 2 hero.

Bakubro always picked fights with Todoroki after the incident, trying to get the icy glared boy to show any kind of emotion. No one else understood at the time, but we now know that he was trying to help the boy in his own way. Trying to get him to rely on his class. But we all heard his sorrow filled sobs at night, unable to do anything about it. 

Jiro and Kami sought comfort in each other, being the closest to the girl right after Todoroki. After spending all that time together, they developed feelings for one another and got married after high school, reserving a front row seat for their dead best friend so she could watch from above. 
The same happened for me and Midobro, we got closer to each other little by little due to being the people there when she died. We clung to each other after the incident and I eventually asked him to be my boyfriend in our third year at UA. Needless to say, Bakubro threatened the shit out of me after. Midobro was now considered a brother to him.

Momo and Iida still find it hard to accept the death of their friend, as they'd known her longer than everyone apart from Todoroki. Momo being her friend since middle school, and knowing Iida through her families connections since she was young.

The rest of the class were still a mess, but they came to terms with it much quicker than the rest of us and took on the job of the 'therapist friends'. 

There was one thing that annoyed the entire class though. Following {Y/N}'s death, Shinso was placed in our class as a replacement. This really upset us, how could they do that when she'd just died?
Todoroki completely shunned the boy at first, telling him straight to his face that he could never take her place, and we all completely seemed to forget that Shinso was her friend too. However, we had Hagakure and Mina there to remind us that {Y/N} would be disappointed in our actions, and finally accepted the boy as one of us. 

The funeral was the worst day for us unfortunately. Her parents tried to make money off of it, even going as far as to have the funeral broadcasted on live television, faking a few tears every now and then. 
It ended up with our class, teachers, and {Y/N}'s brother getting super pissed off and starting a fight. Hell, even Endeavor joined in on the fight, completely disappointed in his two friends actions. Even he wouldn't do that at his own child's funeral.

We completely exposed her parents for everything they did to her, {B/N} telling the news all the trauma the girl suffered through because of them, as well as what their parents told them as {Y/N} was dying. How they laughed and told him the doctors should pull the plug. 
They were arrested a few weeks after that, being taken to court and, after a long trial, they were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. 
We could practically see {Y/N} smiling up there at this point, happy that they can no longer hurt her or anyone else.

Anyway, all of this led to now. The class surrounding our fallen classmates grave and talking about how things are going for us. Cracking jokes, and talking as if she's still here listening and laughing with us. 
All apart from Todoroki, who is sat in front of her grave and trying not to cry again. He really loved her, and we don't think he will ever move on at this point. 

Suddenly, he stands up, shocking the whole class and worrying us half to death. We're all about to say something, thinking that he's going to leave as he's sad, but he turns around. With tears in his eyes he smiles brightly at us, and utters 4 words we will never forget. 4 words that brought the class to tears.

"She's happy now... Right?

The amazing nickisson_'s idea is in the next chapter, so she will know what happens and probably be a bit confused by this chapter xD but it will make sense soon. I'm gonna write the chapter now and you'll all see it, as I can't leave y'all sad.
