The day after we discovered we were engaged we checked the news. It was everywhere. Every newspaper, ever magazine, we were on the front page. We turned on the news channel, every channel we checked, they were talking about our future marriage. All the girls from my private school were blowing up my phone, questioning me all about it. We even checked MeTube, our engagement was #1 on trending! Every social media platform was blowing up over it, it was starting to scare us.

After calming down, we both went down the stairs of the estate - I'd had to stay over due to passing out at the news - and were greeted by our parents smiling faces. We frowned at them and turned away from each other, only to be grabbed by my mother. "Nope! You both have to go on a date to prove you're in love today."
We sigh and, after much arguing, agreed. We walk upstairs to get changed. I went to borrow clothes from Fuyumi since I didn't bring my own. I threw on a white tennis skirt, along with some fishnets and platform boots. I then put on a black and white checkered shirt, tucking it unto my skirt, before placing a black choker around my neck. I walk downstairs, throwing on a black hat and a mask.

Not long after, Shoto appears behind me and grabs my arm, dragging me out of the house. We walk into town and hear the cameras start clicking. Shit. The media found us. I take one look at him and realise why - he wasn't even wearing a disguise! I start to speak in a hushed voice, "Oi... Candy-cane, stop dragging me. We look suspicious."
He immediately releases my arm and I rub it, before he grabs my hand. I yelp at the feeling of him grabbing my hand, he just smirked and said "Oh look, more believable now huh? Exactly how you wanted it."

I smack the back of his head and drag him into a cafe, a cafe that the media can't come inside. We walk to the top floor and into a private room. "Look, Shoto. I don't wanna marry you either. So let's set some rules."
He smiles at my comment, probably the first genuine smile I've seen from him in 9 years now. "Okay, first of all, we only need to act like a couple in front of the media and our parents.", he nods at this and then carries it on. "Ok then, my rule is you have to stay away from me when they're not around."
I agree with his comment, "Okay. No butting into each others personal lives. And no telling anyone we're not actually together."
The list of rules goes on and on. We stayed in that cafe for 2 hours, just going over rules and boundaries. We will only go as far as holding hands and hugging, and ONLY in front of the media and family. Why do I have to marry him?

Time skip - 1 year later (15 years old)

It's been a year of being engaged to that douchebag now. Luckily, we didn't need to see each other too often, until the summer anyway, since I went to a boarding school. All we needed to do was post on our stories saying how we 'missed' each other like once a week. Then summer happened, we had to spend a few days together a week, but all we did was take 'couple' pictures and post them with cheesy captions, or wave at the paparazzi while holding hands.

Summer was almost over and I finally got a letter from UA, the hero school I applied to. I chose it because I thought Shoto wouldn't go there, especially since Uncle Enji's goal is for him to surpass All Might, who was starting as a teacher there.
I open my letter and listen to the message, "Welcome to UA! You came 1st in the exams, and are in Class 1A! Congratulations!"
I scream and run down stairs to my older brother, "{B/N}!! I GOT INTO UA!" He smiles at me and pats my head, "Good job you little brat. Do you know where Sho is going?" I shook my head, "Why would I care where he goes?"
My brother looks at me sympathetically, "I'm sorry sis, I know how much you guys hate each other..."
I smile at the tall boy, "It's fine, I can deal with it. I just have to marry him, have his kids... then divorce him, right?" My brother looks at me, shock evident on his face. His parents made their daughter think this way, his sister can't live her life to the fullest until she's had strong kids and they divorce. He was disgusted by his parents and their decision, he only wished he had been there to stop it.

**A/N - This chapter was a bit shorter than usual, but I wanted to go straight into where she starts attending UA, and didn't wanna put it in this chapter. (:
