The Quirk Marriage (Todoroki x Reader)

Semi-final!

The Quarter final round finally finished, leaving four students left for this round, each of them aiming for the top spot in the UA sports festival and, unfortunately for Monoma, all four of them were from class 1A.

The four students moving into the semi finals were; Bakugou Katsuki, Iida Tenya, Todoroki Shoto and {L/N, Y/N}, and the matchup went like this:
Iida Tenya vs Todoroki Shoto
Bakugou Katsuki vs {L/N, Y/N}

Iida was probably the least determined to win, he was happy to even be so close to the finals but, nevertheless, he wanted to prove to his older brother, Ingenium (Iida Tensei), and his parents that he could come out on top.

Bakugou was one of the most determined students you'd ever meet, even if he was a bit of an asshole. He wanted to win the festival and prove to himself, Deku, and the entire of Japan that he's capable of becoming the number one hero, and surpassing All Might. Or maybe he's just fuelling his superiority complex, honestly, who knows with this guys anger issues?

All Todoroki wanted was to prove to his father he wasn't useless, and he could win without using his father's quirk. Yes, he hates his father with his whole heart, but deep down he wants to believe that, if he wins, his father will show him affection, or at least go easier on him. He just wants a life without the fear of abuse from his father.

Now for {L/N}, at this very moment, this girl is fixated on beating the shit out of Bakugou and proving to her parents that she is more than they say. Not that her parents are even watching the festival right now, no, in fact they couldn't give two shits about their daughter, all they do is go on long tours and completely ignore the existence of their two children. In fact, the only time they acknowledge their children is when they help them gain more money, or give them more fame.

And now... it's time to start the battles.

{Y/N}'s POV

So my next fight is with Boom Boom Bitch, hm? I think to myself as I watch Shoto and Iida walk into the middle of the arena. Suddenly, I feel someone grab my shoulder and turn me around. I come face to face with Bakugou. He stares straight into my eyes and frowns, "Listen up nature freak, I'm not going easy on you. I couldn't give two shits if I hurt you, so give me all you got.", he then turns and walks away, but stops dead in his tracks when I retort, "Enjoy losing, Bakugou."

The ash-blonde smirks and begins walking to his waiting room, sticking his middle finger up at me as he does. I walk behind him, before we end up at the cross section, both turning down different paths to our designated waiting rooms. I can't help but smile to myself, this is gonna be fun.

After waiting for around five minutes, I hear the crowd cheering. I'm 99% sure that Todoroki won, in terms of power he's way stronger than Iida, no offence to Iida or anything! Honestly, the only way Iida would have won that match is by using his engines to the point they end up overloading. 
I stand up as the cheering dies down, and begin walking to my starting point. Honestly, I'm not even sure I'll win this match against Bakugou, but I'll sure as hell try my damned best! I will not lose without putting up a good fight, especially not to that angry pomeranian.

I eventually make it to the arena's entrance, just in time to hear Present Mic announce me. As I walk out into the middle of the Arena I feel my legs begin to shake, I've never been so nervous to face someone in a battle before, but then again I've not faced anyone as powerful as him during my time at UA.

Finally, he walks into the middle of the arena, a smirk on his face as he stares directly at me, mouthing the words 'you're going down, bitch'. I stare right back at him, immediately getting into a fighting stance. Then, the battle begins.

Bakugou runs at me straight away, a sadistic look spread across his face. As he gets closer he finally sends an explosion towards me, and I use my air manipulation to redirect it towards him. He seems shocked by this move as he quickly dodges out of the way, his eyes widening slightly from confusion before being replaced with a look of annoyance. He charges back towards me and I take this chance to use my water manipulation, trying to test if cold water could stop his explosions. 
This idea may have been stupid, but it was worth the shot. If you think about it, his quirk relies around heat and the nitroglycerin he sweats, so if I use cold water and this happens to reduce the amount he sweats for a while... his explosions won't be as strong, and I may have a chance at beating him. 

While Bakugou was preoccupied with dodging my cold water I press my hand against the ground, causing a huge crack in the ground, which quickly heads towards Bakugou. He doesn't notice the ground is broken until he dodges my last shot of water and trips into the hole I made and, just as he is about to emerge from the hole, I use the earth aspect of my quirk to enclose him in the ground, the only part of him above the ground was his head and shoulders. Present Mic then bellows over the stadium, "WOAH, WOAH, WOAH! IS BAKUGOU IMMOBILISED?!", to which Bakugou's response was "FUCK NO I AIN'T!".

He sets off his explosions from underneath the earth, causing the ground around him to shatter as he uses his explosions to launch himself into the air. As the smoke begins to build, I use my air manipulation to launch myself into the air too, while still taking cover in the smoke. It was too risky to be on the ground, especially when I can't see the floor, but if I hide in the smoke it may take longer for Bakugou to find me, especially since he went above the smoke.
I hear him shout, "OI STOP HIDING FROM ME BITCH!", and I turn to look at where the noise came from. I see the outline of his body propelling towards me at an inhuman speed and gasp, shit can I dodge this?
I hold my hands in front of me and shoot the coldest water I've ever managed to make, hoping it would act as a shield. That was, until something weird happened. It wasn't water in front of me, but ice. I mean, I'd recently discovered I could change the temperature of my water, but I didn't realise I could turn it into ice?!

The smoke finally clears and the audience gasp as Bakugou slams straight into my shield of ice, slowly getting knocked back to the ground. His eyes widen once more as he screams at me, but I was too distracted by my ice to listen. Bakugou takes the opportunity to send another explosion towards me, but this time managing to hit me. As the explosion hits me, I use the air surrounding me to block me from going out of bounds, then safely land on the ground. 
With the new found discovery of my powers, I smirk and charge towards Bakugou once more, grabbing him by his collar as his palms spark. Then, just as he's about to hit me with another explosion I use my new found discovery, I cover his body (shoulders downwards) in my water, then change the temperature to enclose him in ice. 
And with one final smile, I send him flying out of bounds with my air manipulation, just as he manages to break free.

Then I hear the announcement I hoped for, "{L/N, {Y/N} HAS WON THE MATCH!", followed by the cheers of my peers and the audience. The last thing I saw was Shoto running towards me as I passed out.
