Y/N POV
"no they think i killed him or just let him die" i cried into justin's hug "everyone who seen it knows you tried to save him, you didn't kill him y/n" he tells me "i should've been dead" i say and he immediately tightens his grip on me "no you should've, don't say that, once the guys report comes out everything will be solved" he tells me and i sigh. i pull away from the hug and he pulls my head down to kiss my forehead. "i love you y/n you'll get through this" he tells me "i love you too" i shoot him a fake smile and wash my face. "you can go back out i'm just going to calm down" i tell him and he nods. he left and i continued to wash my face.
ARIANA POV
we seen justin walk back to the table and it was quiet. "is she okay" i ask him "uh shes a bit hurt about the assumptions but she's calming down" he tells us and sits back in his chair. it's been 5 minutes and y/n finally comes out the bathroom. her eyes were red. my poor baby, she's probably putting so much on herself. she sits and i grab her hand. "y/n you good" harry asked and she nodded. soon we ordered food and ate. y/n was silent the whole time. these aren't my close friends and i was talking more. "y/n" i say and she looks at me "mm" she hums "why are you being so quiet" i ask, dumb question. "i'm sorry" she says "don't be sorry, let's just have a good time" i tell her and she nods. i talk to mila for a bit then look over at y/n who's talking to harry. "so any new music" harry asks gaining all of our attention "um i was planning on dropping an album really really soon but i'm not sure since everyone things i killed juice" she responds and looks down. "the guys report should be out soon y/n don't stress it" shawn tells her and she nods. i grab her hand and intertwined our fingers. she smiles alittle then continued her conversation. she used her thumb to rub over my small knuckles and that sent me over the hills, it was the most comforting thing. i don't know why but i felt super safe and knew she would protect me with everything in her. "you love her dont you" hailey whispers so only me and mila hear. "i well um uh i don't know" i replied unsure really "she's always had a soft spot in my heart, like literally mac wanted us together, but i'm not sure if i love her yet" i add and they nod. "you both deserve the world and i feel like you can give eachother it" mila whispers and i blush.

we just got to my house because y/n is trying to drop me off. she's in funk with the questions, it was worse when we left. "y/n cant i just stay with you again" i complain "i have an interview tomorrow and i'm probably just going to knock out when i get home anyway" she says trying to make an excuse "come on we're going to your house and i don't care what you say" i tell her sternly. she sighs but gives in, i can tell she's tense so i just want to look out for her. her phone started to ring and she clicked it to answer through her car.
Y/N POV
"y/n they released the gun man and all the evidence so you're good" justin says through the phone. "okay thanks for telling me" i say "yeah it's all over the news, people are praising you because you were basically harassed" he says "okay i'll talk to you later" i tell him and hang up. "are you okay" ariana asks me "yeah i'm just tired and aggregated" i confess and she takes my hand. "um dua lipa and i are collaborating" i say trying to change the subject "that's great" she says and i know she's smiling at me. "yeah she's hot" i say trying to press ariana's buttons "pardon" ariana asks and i tense "dua is so fine" i say with a smile and ariana let's go of my hand. "okay i'll go home now" she says and i smile, "what's so funny" she asks clearly annoyed "your jealous and it's cute" i say and i feel her still tense. we stop at a red light and i look over at her "i was just kidding baby" i says and she blushs whilst looking at me "say it again" she tells me and bites her bottom lip "baby" i say and she grabs my hand again. "i will cut your dick off if you keep playing games" she says sternly "damn that's hot" i tell her and she kisses the back of my hand. i pulled up to my house and we both walked in. i need to something instrumental because my mind is racing. i quickly grab my guitar and sit on my dock. "okay something for me" i hear ariana's voice. "like what" i ask "sad since you're sad" she asks and i immediately smile
