"After you done eating, pack your things, Sonia."

"Yes, Mom. But do I need to pack a lot?"

He shook her head and waved a hand on air. "No, hija. Isang linggo lang kayo roon."

That's long a vacation for me though I used to. Once to thrice a year kung magpa-event si Mama sa manila. Madalang lang dito sa nueva vizcaya since our company is in Manila. Nagbigay na rin ng excuse letter si Mama sa school kahapon kahit hindi niya pa nababanggit sa akin. It's friday at bukas ang alis naman ng umaga. Kakauwi ko lang galing school at ito agad ang bumungad sa akin. Hindi naman ako nalulungkot or what dahil lang magkakaroon ako ng absent. Naihahabol ko naman ang mga gawain na hindi ko nagagawa on-time. Saka makakasama ko ang buong pamilya ko.

Makakauwi si kuya Simon! And I can't wait to see him! It's been a months!

As I done eating I excused myself. They just nodded without a words. My parensts seems busy discussing about for incoming event that they planned. Are they going to announce something important or what? I shrugged as I enter my room.

The Mom who loves event. Baka naisipan niya lang since ngayong taon ay hindi pa siya nagpapaevent. Or baka may important lang about business.

I lay down on my bed and let out a big sigh. Then, suddenly the image of Gideon looking at me enter on my mind. As if I saw him personally. I gulped so hard to the point that something on my neck will break.

I remember how he told me those words at me! Infront of me! Not even telling me to be ready! He just straight to point told me that he likes me. It's like a normal words for him!

That moment flashback on my memory.

"W-What?" I blinked.

He straightened his back and give me a look like could make me melt right here where I'm sitting. Hindi ko alam kung saan ibabaling ang mata ko.

"Sorry for being a harsh. I knew I hurt your feelings that time. But you know, you hurt my feelings more. Kung ikaw ba aalukin ko ng pagkakaibigan ng taong gusto mo papayag ka ba?" his brows rose up. Wanting me to answer his awkward question.

It's just stragely that after a week he answered the question that keep on bugging my mind for many nights. And the answer...

Am I dreaming? Am I thinking too much about Gideon rejecting my offer to be my friend?

First, Aleena just said while ago that we can be friends and now this? Gideon confessing his feelings to me.

Tinaas ko ang kamay sa ere na parang pinapatigil siya. "W-Wait Gideon. W-What are you saying?" nagtataka kong tanong.

Patago kong kinurot ang likod ng palad at nilakasan ko talaga pero napakagat ako sa labi nang maramdaman ang sakit.

"I like you."

Bigla akong nabulunan sa sariling laway. He just said that? Emotionless? Is he being sincere or he just tripping me.

I cock my head trying my best to remove that to my head but... nevermind. I stood up from my bed and went to my closet.

Puro panglakad lang ang dinala ko since marami akong pang-bahay, nighties, pajamas sa bahay sa Manila. Isa-isa kong tinupi ang mga damit na nilabas mula sa closet para mailagay na sa bag ko. Duffel bag na lang ang ginamit ko.

Habang nagtutupi ay may biglang kumatok.

"Come in!" I yelled.

I jumped from my seat when someone harshly opened my door and I saw kuya Sam looking defeated.
