Revelation

"Just put it on my table. Thanks!" I shouted.

I'm in hurry again. My first subject will start in 30 minutes. I just received again a letter. I don't know where it came from. I have no idea. I'd received two letter and plus the other one today and didn't even bothered to opened the first two because I was too busy on my school works.

Gladly I finished it immediately. And later I'm going to pass it to professors.

As I went out I already saw Gideon. Holding a paper bag. My step seemed become slow as our eyes met. I consciously held the strap of my bag.

Nang tuluyang makalapit sa kaniya ay agad niyang inabot sa akin ang paper bag at nagulat namang tinanggap 'yon. What's with him?

"Good morning. I made a lunch for you. Hindi kita maihahatid pauwi mamaya dahil may gagawin kami ng mga kaklase ko."

I peeked inside the paper bag. I pouted stopping myself from smiling. Is this how he will court me? Should I say it's one point now? 

"G-Good morning din. Tatawagan ko na lang si Manong Gino kapag magpapasundo na ako..."

He nodded and we climbed inside the car. Nagsimula na siyang magmaneho at namutawi naman ang katahimikan. I shifted my seat and cleared my throat. Planning to start a topic. Gusto kong maging komportable ulit kapag nasa paligid ko siya.

"Salamat pala dito. Nag-abala ka pa."

"Kung para sa'yo naman ang gagawin ko. Hindi 'yon abala. Saka gusto kong kumakain ka kapag tanghali." Nilingon niya ako at pinasadahan ang tingin ang katawan ko. "Namamayat ka na at hindi 'yon maganda para sa katawan mo."

Para akong kakapusin ng hininga sa mga sinasabi niya. It is surprising. I never though that Gideon have a side like this. He's caring me too much. He's concern words makes my heart melts.

"Hindi naman siguro ako namamayat..."

"You are. Just eat that later at lunch."

He pulled the car infront of the entrance. I unbuckled the seat belt. I looked up him ones I get out.

"Thank you, Gideon."

He nodded. "Text me later if you get home."

I closed the door and walk to the entrance. Sinalubong ako ng guwardiya na medyo ka-close ko.

"Good morning, Ma'am Sonia! Tagal niyo pong nawala!" nakangiti niyang bati.

"Good morning din po. Naging abala lang po sa event sa Manila." I slide my ID and waved at him as I entered the school.

Marami pang mga estudyanteng pagala-gala. Panigurado ang iba ay mamayalang alas dies pa ang simula ng klase. Nahagip pa ng tingin ko ang grupo ni Melissa. At hindi ko alam kung bakit parang hindi ako natatakot sa kanila. Parang hindi na ako magiisip ng kung ano ano kapag nakikita ko sila.

"Sonia!"

I shifted my gaze to someone calling me and I saw Aleena running closer to me. Medyo nanlaki ang mata ko at napangiti. Binilisan ko naman ang paghakbanv para hindi na siya tumakbo.

"Hello!"

She took a deep breath. "N-Nadaanan ko room niyo narinig ko vacant niyo first sub. Tara cafeteria muna tayo."

"Really?" tila nabuhayan ako. 

It means I have time to pass my school works? What a beautiful day.

"Oo. Saka mamaya pa klase namin."

Pinasadahan ko ng tingin ang suot niya and she's wearing a medical student uniform.
