We pulled up in front of an apartment building where our dad was supposed to be held inside. Of course they would hold him somewhere like this. With a lot of people, instead of the usual place like an abandoned building and make this easy.

"Pull the fire alarm, get out all the civilians." I said to Sam.

"Okay, but the city responds in, what, seven minutes?" Sam replied.

"Seven minutes exactly." I told him.

I watched as Sam walked into the building and just waited outside. It only took a few minutes but I heard the fire alarm go off and people started to quickly exit the building. I look into the crowd pushing its way through the door and see Sam is among them. We waited and the fire department responded quickly just like we knew they would.

"Hey, what's happening? Is it a fire?" I asked one of the firemen.

"We're figuring that out right now, sir. Just stay back." He said to me as he tried to move me away.

"Well, I've got a Yorkie upstairs and he pees when he's nervous." I tried to tell him but obviously he was not a dog person.

"Sir, you have to stay back." He told me again.

I watched as Sam walked around behind the fire truck. I knew he needed some time so I continued to pretend to be scared for my Yorkie. I think I was just about to get punched in the face by the fire fighter when I saw Sam walking away from the truck with two uniforms in his hands.

"You know what, never mind. I'm sure he will be fine." I said and then walked away to go find Sam.

The two of us quickly changed and then walked into the building with no problem. We walked down the halls dressed in our full firemen gear. Helmets, breathing things, and everything else. I was surprised at how heavy it all was. I was using the EMF to check the doors to every apartment. I was hoping we would find this place soon.

"I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up." I told Sam trying to lighten the mood.

"You never told me that." Sam responded.

I was just about to answer when the EMF started to go off with a very high reading. I put it away and knocked on the door very loudly. It only took a few seconds but someone came to the door and looked through the peephole.

"This is the fire department. We need you to evacuate." I told them through the door.

I can hear the door start to unlock and Sam and I waste no time pushing ourselves inside. There was a woman on the other side of the door and she was thrown to the floor as we pushed our way in. We quickly sprayed them with holy water that we had put in our water tanks and it burned them just like I knew it would. I quickly punched the man and shoved him into a closet so he was out of the way.

"Come on!" I yelled to Sam.

He quickly grabbed the woman off of the table she was lying on and shoved her into the closet as well. I leaned against the door and it pussed open as the demons inside tried to get out.

"Hurry up!" I snapped at Sam who was moving too slowly for my liking.

Sam pulled out a canister of salt from the duffle bag and he placed a line around the closet door. As soon as he finished they stopped trying to break out. We took off our fireman gear and I was more than happy to take off all the heavy clothes.

The two of us then walked over to the bedroom which was the only door in the place that seemed to be closed. It felt like forever as we opened the door but once we did my heart almost exploded with excitement when I saw my dad.
