By the time Sam got back from the store both Eve and I were out of the shower and dressed. I was in a great mood for obvious reasons. I have been with a lot of women but none of them compare to Eve. I could not help but look over at her as she tied her hair back into two tight braids that she pulled back into a bun. Her beautiful red hair looked perfect with her flawless pale skin and mismatched eyes.

She was wearing a light blue dress that was short, real short. Not that I was complaining, she had great legs. She had a long sleeved jean jacket pulled on over her dress. And these little brown heeled boots that she made look so sexy.

"You're staring." Sam whispered into my ear.

"Your point." I responded.

"I thought we agreed, you weren't going to get involved with her?" He asked me.

I could not take my eyes off her as she put the red lips stick on her lips. I wanted to go over and kiss those lips.

"Nothing's going on." I told him.

"I'm not stupid Dean. I know why you sent me to the store, and I know that stupid look you get on your face after you have sex." He told me.

"It's really none of your business." I said to him.

"We agreed." He said to me aggravating me even more.

"No you and Bobby agreed." I told him.

"Don't play stupid you promised Bobby." He said to me which was true.

"Whatever, we're not kids any more. We are both adults and we don't need Bobby's approval." I responded.

"Dean, this is not one of your one night stands. This is Eve. She's our friend, she's like family. She hunts with us and is always going to be around. If you get involved and mess this up Dean it's going to cause problems for all of us." He lectured me.

"Maybe I'm not going to mess it up." I told him angrily that he thinks I am a complete idiot.

"I know you don't want to. I know you care about her but I also know you. And in the end you will hurt her. Just like you did when we were kids." He told me and I really did not want to hear any more of this.

I got up from where I was sitting on the bed.

"Hey Eve, are you ready?" I asked her.

"Yep." She answered me as she turned from the mirror and grabbed her bag and walked over to me.

I could almost feel Sam rolling his eyes at me but he did not say anything. He just got up and followed us out of the room.

"Ahh there you are." Gordon said the second we walked into the bar.

"Hope you have not been waiting long." I said to him.

"Not at all. I got us a table." He said as he led us to a vacant table.

I sat down next to Gordon with Eve at my side and Sam sat in-between her and Gordon. Almost instantly a waitress walked over and brought us drinks.

"I hope you don't mind but I ordered for us." He said to me.

"Not at all." I said as the waitress handed us all the beers.

All except for Eve who got handed some fruity girl drink.

"What the hell is this?" She asked, obviously getting angry.

"Is something wrong?" The waitress asked.

"Yes. I don't want this. Just bring me whatever the boys are drinking." Eve told the waitress as she handed her back the drink.

I could not help but smile at her. She was always laid back, drinking a beer with the guy's kind of girl. It was one of the reasons I fell for her when we were kids.

It did not take long for us to finish our beers and the waitress to bring over another round.

"No, no, I got it." Gordon said when I tried to pay for the second round.

"Come one." I tried to fight him.

"I insist." He responded. "Thank you, sweetie." He said as he handed her money.

When she walked away he raised his shot glass and we all followed suit. All but Sam.

"Another one bites the dust." He said.

"That's right." I responded.

Then the three of us took the shot. Sam was just sitting there with his arms folded. He really was being a downer.

"I have to go to the bathroom." Eve said to us before she got up and walked away from the table.

She staggered a little but once she got her footing she seemed fine. She was always really good at holding her liquor.

"You gave that big-ass fang one hell of a haircut, my friend." Gordon said to me. .

"Thank you." I replied. "But Eve did help." I reminded him.

"Well either way that was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful." He said to me.

I looked over to Sam who was still sitting there in one of his moods.

"Yep. You all right, Sammy?" I asked him.

"I'm fine." He responded to me in a cold tone.

"Well, lighten up a little, Sammy." Gordon said to Sam.

"He's the only one who gets to call me that." Sam told him harshly.

"Okay, No offense meant." Gordon says with his hands up in the air. "Just celebrating a little. Job well done." He said to Sam

"Right. Well, decapitations aren't my idea of a good time, I guess." Sam said to him.

"Oh, come on, man, it's not like it was human. You've gotta have a little more fun with your job." Gordon tried to reason with Sam.

"See? That's what I've been trying to tell him. You could learn a thing or two from this guy." I told Sam.

"Yeah, I bet I could. Look, I'm not gonna bring you guys down. I'm just gonna go back to the motel." Sam told me.

"You sure?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He answered.

"Sammy? Remind me to beat that buzzkill out of you later, all right?" I said to him as I tossed him the keys.

I watched him walk out of the bar wishing that he could just relax a little. He's always so serious.

"Something I said?" Gordon asked me.

"No, he just gets that way sometimes. Tell you what. Match you quarters for the next round." I said to him.

He did not answer, he was looking over my shoulder at something.

"What?" I asked him as I turned around to see what he was looking at.

Eve was trying to make her way back to the table but some large muscular biker guy had stood in her way. Stopping her from walking any further.

"Looks like your girl is in trouble." Gordon said to me.

I looked over to her and she did not look intimidated by him at all.

"I would not be so sure about that." I said to him and he looked at me confused.

"Eve can handle herself." I told him.

That did not mean I was going to stop watching. Just in case she got in over her head but if I went over there and tried to save her I would be the one getting my ass kicked.
