I was sitting on the bed; Tessa was behind me. She was stroking my hair. I wanted to tell her to stop but I just did not have the energy.

"It's time to put the pain behind you." She said to me.

"And go where?" I asked her.

"Sorry. I can't give away the big punchline. Moment of truth. No changing your mind later. So what's it going to be?" She asks him.

"Dean, don't go with her." A voice came from behind me.

I turn around to see Eve standing there looking right at me. I knew I had heard her. I ran over to her and wrapped my arms around her, and she did the same. It only took my brain a few more seconds to catch up to my body.

"Wait, Eve, how are you here?" I asked her.

"That does not matter. I came to bring you back." She told me.

"You can't, that's impossible." Tessa said to her.

"Back off Bitch. He's coming with me." Eve told her and I could not help but smile.

"Eve what did you do?" I asked her.

"Don't worry about it. If we can get back to your body, I can put you back and then Sam knows what he has to do to wake me up." She told me. "It's all going to be okay." She told me but I did not know if I believed her.

"Is that true? Can she, do it?" I asked Tessa.

"No. She can't, now come with me." Tessa told me.

"Eve if I leave and you can't do it, I won't get another chance to move on." I told her.

"You won't need it but we need to go now. The longer we stay here the weaker I get. I can feel my powers draining as we speak." She tells me.

"Powers?" I asked her, wanting her to explain.

"Dean, come with me." Tessa said as she held out her hand.

"Don't touch him." Eve said as she held up her hand and Tessa was stopped by a dark blue wall of light.

"You can't keep that up forever." Tessa said to Eve.

"Look I am not going back without you." Eve said to me.

"So that's your plan. Force me to come back because if I don't you will die too." I said to her.

"Pretty much." She responds.

"That's a horrible plan." I told her.

"It was all I had." She answers.

"We have to hurry." She told me worry filled her voice.

I turned to leave with Eve when the lights started to flicker, and I could hear a faint buzzing sound.

"What are you doing that for?" I asked Tessa.

"I'm not doing it." She said.

"Someone's coming." Eve told the two of us.

We all turned to look as a black demon mist poured out of it.

"What the hell?" I asked.

"Just stay behind me." Eve tried to tell me but that was not happening. I pushed her behind me.

"You can't do this! Get away!" Tessa yelled.

"What's happening?" I asked as Tessa screamed when the demon mist flew into her mouth.

She turned to look at us and her eyes were glowing yellow.

"Today's your lucky day kid." The Demon said as he reached out and grabbed Eve's hand.

She yelled out in pain, and I tried to separate them, but it did not work. She fell to the ground, and he let go over her.

"What did you do to her?" I asked as I helped her stand back up.

"I just gave her the boost she needed to take you home." He said to me.

"Eve are you okay?" I asked her.

She looked up at me then back to the yellow eyed demon who was smiling at her.

"I feel great." She said which worried me even more than if she was hurt.

"What?" I asked.

"Let's get you back." She said as she reached out for my head, but I moved away.

"I thought you said I had to be near my body?" I asked her.

"Not anymore. I can do it from here." She told me.

Before I could protest, she placed her hand on my forehead and my vision was filled with bright white light.

I gasped out for air, but I felt like I was choking. My throat hurts. I wanted to yell for help, but I could not. I looked over and could see Sam on the ground bending over an unconscious Eve. I wanted to ask what happened, but I could not. The next thing I knew Sam pulled something out of his pocket and stabbed Eve in the chest with it.

"Relax." Sam said to me suddenly at my side.

But I was not going to relax. Something was wrong with Eve. Was she dead? What the hell happened? Did the demon get her?

I knew it was going to hurt but I needed this damn thing out. I yanked with all m y strength and pulled the tube out of my own throat.

My throat was sore and dry, and it hurt.

"Eve." I said it came out as a whisper.

"She's okay." Sam said but then turned back around and started to look worried again.

"Eve?" He asked as he knelt back down next to her.

"What's wrong?" I asked a little louder than the last time I spoke.

"I don't know. She was supposed to be up." He said to me.

"Why is she not breathing?" I asked.

"Because she's dead." He said to me.

I watched as he pulled the tube and needle out of her and hid it in his bag.

I watched as Sam ran out into the hallway.

"Help! I need help!" I could hear him yell from the other room, but I could not take my eyes off Eve's lifeless body.
