I watched as Andy drove off with Baby and Eve. I was confused and happy for him all at the same time. Baby sped out of view when my phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I said when I answered the phone.

"Dean, Andy's got Eve and the Impala." He said to me.

"I know!" I yelled at him.

Now that he had driven away my senses were starting to come back to me.

"He just sort of asked me for it and I let him take it." I told him truthfully, having no idea what was going on.

"And Eve?" He asked me.

"He sort of asked me for her to." I answered, as I wanted to punch something.

Just thinking of whatever that little purvey was thinking about doing to her made my blood boil. But I was also worried out of my mind because I just let him take her. If anything happened, it would be my fault.

"You what?" Sam asked me.

"He full on obi- oned me. It's mind control, man." I said to him.

It took me forever to get back into town and when I did I found Sam sulking as the emts put the dead man into a body bag. I knew he felt guilty. He felt like he should have been able to save this man.

"I kept him out of the gun store." He said to me.

"I thought he was okay. I thought he was past it at least." Sam was saying.
He was on the verge of tears and I did not like seeing him like this. Especially when there was nothing he could have done. How was he to know that the guy was still going to walk out in front of a bus?

"I should have stayed with him." He said.

"I know you're upset Sammy. But you did all you could. Right now we need to find Andy and Eve." I told him.

"Eve will be fine." He told me as he still looked at the body bag.

"How can you say that after what you just saw?" I asked him.

"When I saw her drive by, she smiled at me. I don't think he can control her. I think she just wants him to think he can." He said to me.

"No, that's bull shit Sam. That can't be true." I said.

"Why, because if it is, that means she's just driving around letting him kill people?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I answered. "She wouldn't do that."

"Or maybe she's relieved to have found someone like her. Did you forget that she has the same power?" He asked me.

And truthfully yeah I had. She had talked about it a few times but she never used it so I just kinda forgot.

"Maybe you don't know Eve as well as you think you do?" He said as he got up and walked away.

"I know Eve!" I yelled after him.

We walked down the street when I saw the impala parked at the corner.

"Thank god! I'm sorry baby. I'll never leave you again." I said as I ran over and checked to make sure my car was okay.

"No Eve." I told Sam, as I looked round and saw the keys.

"At least he left the keys inside." I said to him.

"Yeah real Samaritan, this guy." Sam said.

"It looks like he can't use his mojo by just twitching his nose. He's gotta use verbal commands." I said.

"The doctor had just gotten off his cellphone when he stepped in front of the bus." Sam told me.

"Andy must have called him or something." He went on to say.

"I don't know, maybe." I said to him.

"Beg your pardon." Sam said to me.

"I just don't know if he's our guy, Sam." I said to him not believing the words that were coming out of my mouth.

"You have O.J. convicted before he got out of his bronco, and you have doubts about this?" Sam asked me.

"He just doesn't seem like the stone- cold killer type. That's all and O.J. Was guilty." I informed him.

"Either way, how are we going to track this guy down? And where the hell is Eve?" Sam asked me.

"Not a problem." I said to him as it took all of five minutes to find his van.

"Not really an inconspicuous ride." I said to Sam.

"Let's have a look." I said then popped it open to see a disco ball inside.

"Oh come on." I said as I looked at a completely set up love shack.

"This is magnificent. That's what this is," I said.

"Really is that what you will think if you find out he mind controlled Eve back here?" Sam asked me.

Just the thought of it completely changed my mood.

"Not really a serial killer's lair, though." I said to Sam trying to ignore what he had just said.

"There's no clown paintings on the walls. Or scissors stuck in victims photos. I like the tiger." I said as Sam looked over some books.

"Hegel? Kant? Wittgenstein? That's some pretty heavy reading, Dean." Sam said to me.

"Yeah and uh." I said as I pulled out a massive glass bong.

"Moby dicks bong." I said.

There was not really much to go on so we did the only thing we could. Got some burgers and staked out the van again. I chowed down as Sam looked over the file again and again.

"You know one day I would love to just sit down and eat something that I didn't have to microwave at a minimart." I told Sam.

"What I don't get is the motive." He said to me completely ignoring what I had just said.

"The doctor was quickly clean. Why would Andy waste him?" He asked.

"If it is Andy." I reminded him.

"Dude, enough." He told me.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know, maybe because he stole your car and your girlfriend. One we have yet to get back. Also the doctor was mind controlled in front of a bus. Andy just happens to have the power of mind control. You do the math." He said to me.

I don't know what it is, I mean he's right but something about the kid. I just don't feel like it's him.

"I don't think the guy has it in him. That's all." I told him.

"How the hell would you know?" Sam asked me. "Why are you bending over backwards defending him?"

"Cause you're not right about this." I told him

"About Andy?" He asked.

"Hey!" Someone yelled as they slammed on my car.

We both turned to look to see Andy standing there looking at us.

"You think I haven't seen you two. Why are you following me?" He asked us.

"Well, we're lawyers. A relative of yours has" Sam started to say.

"Tell the truth!" He yelled at us.
