Why Is It Snowing?

I don't know what this is, to be honest. I'm getting more vague and 'careless' with my writing now. This oneshot is literally just a random thing I wrote after looking outside my window and seeing snow despite the fact that it's the beginning of April.

Tubbo

      It's snowing.

      Why is it snowing?

      It's the middle of summer.

How is it snowing right now?

"Tubbo? Are you alright? You haven't moved in a while."

I looked away from the grey, cloudy sky and to the person at my side. Ranboo.

"Where's Tommy?" I asked him. I had wanted to ask about the snow; why had I asked about Tommy instead?

He looked down at the ground and fiddled with his hands. One of his legs started bouncing as he looked back up at me.

"Tubbo.." He sighed. "Tommy died three months ago."

      "What?"

I was confused. How had Tommy died? I'd just talked with him the day before. He'd been saying how he was gonna visit Dream for the last time. I'd seen a bee fly down onto a flower by his head. We had been laying on the roof of his house. The sky had been clear and the sun had been so warm on my skin. I knew it was summer. I knew he was still alive.

      But it's snowing.

      Why is it snowing?

      "Ranboo, why is it snowing?"

"Because it's winter. It's been snowing on-and-off for a few days now, Tubbo."

      What?

      "I don't understand."

Ranboo shifted closer to me on the bench we were sitting on and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me towards him in a hug. "It's alright. You're gonna be okay."

I felt tears pricking at my eyes. I couldn't understand why. I didn't know what was going on.

I buried my face against Ranboo's shoulder, sobbing against the fabric of his suit. He just kept hugging me and telling me that everything was going to be fine.

But how was it all going to be fine? I didn't know. He probably didn't, either.

      I want to see Tommy.

      Where's Tommy?
