This oneshot might not be very good, since I made Tubbo's death really off and anticlimactic, so, sorry about that.
CW// Murder
TubboAs Ranboo and I left Tommy at what was left of L'manberg, we were completely silent. I had no idea what was going through his head, and the look on his face was just as unreadable.
I was remembering what Wilbur had been like before he died. Even before Pogtopia. I remembered how nice he'd been, even if he still was a little corrupted back then. He'd still smile at all of us without any malice, though, and I missed that.
I hoped that Wilbur hadn't change for the worst in the afterlife. I hoped that he would be like he was before.
But what can hope alone get you, anyway?

It was a regular day. I was on my way to go visit Ranboo, probably annoy him a little as well, when Wilbur came out of nowhere and scared me half to death.
"Hey, Tubbo!" He said simply as he stepped out from behind a small hill, one of his hands up in a little wave and a friendly smile on his face.
I screeched and almost fell backwards, not expecting to see him there or for him to greet me so suddenly.
He chuckled. "Did I scare you?"
"Little bit, yeah." I replied, trying not to come across as nervous as I felt.
"Whoops," He shrugged. "Anyway, where're you heading off to?"
"I was just gonna go visit Ranboo." I told him honestly, not wanting to know what he would be like when he caught me lying.
Wilbur raised an eyebrow at me. "Ranboo? That guy?"
I sighed, crossing my arms. "Oh, don't tell me you hate him now."
"No, no, I don't hate him, I just don't see the appeal. Tommy hyped him up and he turned out to be.. I dunno. Boring? Weird? Whatever."
"I wouldn't say he's boring. He is a bit weird, though."
Wilbur hummed, looking off to the side for no clear reason. He then clicked his tongue and took a step closer to me. I was too afraid to back away.
"What do you think of Dream?" He asked me.
I frowned. "I think he's a dickhead. And a murderer."
Wilbur didn't really like that. "He isn't a dickhead, Tubbo, he's.. he's a god. A saviour. My saviour."
"Wilbur-" I began, but was cut off as he put a finger to his lips and then gestured for me to follow him somewhere.
I gulped, nervous and most definitely scared for my safety as Wilbur led me back down the way I'd just come and all the way to the remains of L'manberg, where someone was standing very ominously on the glass.
My entire body felt numb as I recognized who was standing there. That fucking smiley mask had been the source of my nightmares for months and months on end, but this time, I didn't have the option to wake up as I was forced towards him.
"Wilbur, what the fuck did you do?" I asked the man beside me with a shaky voice, my eyes never leaving the netherite sword that Dream held in his hand.
Wilbur didn't say anything. When I risked a glance at his face, he was still smiling, but there was something behind it that I couldn't identify.
I'm scared.
Dream began to move towards us.
This is just another nightmare.
Wilbur now had a hand tightly wrapped around my wrist, preventing me from running away, even though my muscles were frozen in place.
I want to wake up.
He was dragging the tip of the sword along the glass, leaving a long, thin cut on the surface.
Tommy will wake me up.
Dream was now standing directly in front of me, his sadistic grin being the only visible part of his face as he raised his sword.
Tommy will save me.
There was a blur of movement and then a sudden pain in my chest, and I felt Wilbur's grip on my wrist disappear as I collapsed.
Everything will be fine.
My vision was darkening at the edges, and my eyes couldn't keep focus on anything.
This is just another nightmare.
The soft tapping of boots against glass was all I heard before I let my eyes close and allowed the cold darkness to consume me.
Tommy will wake me up.
TommyIt had started of as a regular day. I'd woken up just fine, I'd tended to my little farm like normal, and I'd even pissed a few people off before it'd even been an hour since I awoke. Nothing was strange or unusual.
But then, when I'd gone to Snowchester, everything seemed off. It was too still. Too quiet. Too dead.
Something had happened to Tubbo, and I was instantly so afraid that Wilbur had hurt him.
I ran back to the mainland, sprinting across the top of the tunnel that Tubbo had made because I didn't have any armour on me. I assumed Wilbur would be near L'manberg, to I made my way there as fast as I could.
As I ran down the steps, almost tripping several times, I saw someone with a head of brown hair lying on the glass in a puddle of blood.
My limbs went stiff, my blood ran cold, and I couldn't breathe, because that jacket wasn't Wilbur's, and neither was that dark brown hair with two stubby horns poking out from it.
My legs were wobbling as I slowly stepped towards him. When I reached where he lay, I fell to my knees almost immediately.
And then I screamed, because what else could I do?
I screamed until the tears in my eyes began to fall. Then I cried until my sobs left my throat burning. Then I just sat there, holding Tubbo's head in my lap until he opened his eyes and asked me what was wrong.
I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
He'll wake up soon.
I could feel two sets of eyes burning into the back of my head, watching me from afar, but I didn't care. I knew what had happened. I knew it was real. I knew.
He's not waking up.
