(The only thing I changed from the request was the red egg itself, but I swapped it out for something similar so the request wouldn't be changed too much.) This AU takes place sometime after Technoblade has joined Pogtopia.

      I was getting sick and tired of doing Schlatt's dirty work. Every morning he would give me at least five things to do that he could've done himself, and by the end of the day I'd be exhausted when I made it to Pogtopia. I hated him. I'm pretty sure everyone else did too.

      That evening, Schlatt had sent me to get a handful of certain type of flower that grew closer to Pogtopia than it did to Manberg, and I was glad I could visit Tommy for longer than usual. Schlatt wouldn't notice if I was gone for just a little bit too long, and if he did, I could just come up with an excuse.

      After wandering around in the dark for a while, I saw a light up ahead. I assumed it would either be a lava pool or Pogtopia, since I hadn't been going in the direction of anywhere else with light, but when I got closer, it was something I had never seen before; an unnaturally large and entirely glowing red flower. I was pretty sure flowers weren't supposed to be giant and glowing, but something about it made me want to get closer. The more I looked at it, the more I realized that it was actually very pretty. The stem looked as if someone had drenched it in blood, and the petals were just a lighter version of the same colour.

      When I got closer to it, I heard whispers. I seemed to know what they were saying despite the fact they were speaking in a language I didn't understand. I reached out and placed my left hand on the stem as the whispers had asked me to, and something that felt similar to a needle suddenly stabbed my hand, causing me to yelp and jump back. I checked my hand, but it looked completely fine.

      Weird...

      Brushing it off, I left the flower and began walking in the direction of what I hoped was Pogtopia.

      I'd finally managed to convince Techno to spar with me, which I was thrilled about at first, but it ended up being a bad idea. I swear he almost killed me several times, and when Tubbo showed up, he almost got knocked out by Techno's sword.

      "AYE! DON'T HIT TUBBO!"

      Techno rolled his eyes at me. "It was an accident. I didn't know he was gonna be there. And I didn't even hit him."

      "Still," I got up from where Techno had knocked me to the floor and went over to Tubbo. "You alright, Big Man?"

      He fiddled with his hands. "Yeah, why?"

      I shrugged. "Just checking," I walked over to the small campfire and sat down and Tubbo sat opposite me. "Anyway, why're you here earlier than normal?"

      "Oh, Schlatt asked me to get a flower for him and apparently it grows close to here so I just thought I'd visit you early." He smiled a little.
