"Hey, are you alright, Big Man?"

I looked up to see Tubbo standing beside the bench. I shrugged, and he took a seat next to me.

      "D'you.. wanna talk about it?"

I shook my head slightly. "Got nothing to talk about."

"Well, I don't believe you. I haven't seen you since you came out of the prison - it's like you've been avoiding me. Please, just tell me what's wrong."

I clenched my fists, digging my nails into the scarred flesh of my palms. The pain kept me distracted.

      "Tommy?"

"I'm fine, it's just-" I cut myself off, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I just... When I came back - when I was let out of the prison after dying, I didn't expect.. I wasn't expecting you to have a family. A whole life.. without me."

I was staring dead straight at the setting sun ahead, watching as it fell beyond the trees. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Tubbo fiddling with a golden ring on his finger.

He went to say something, but I cut him off. "I know it's selfish. I know I'm selfish. I know how much of an asshole I can be when it comes to certain things, but I know that you're happy now, and I don't wanna ruin that."

It was silent for a moment, and then Tubbo muttered, "You're right."

I hummed, clenching my fists impossibly tighter as tears began to blur my vision.

"Aww, you gonna cry? You crying?"

      You're not Tubbo.

      "Aww, don't cry."

      Shut up.

"It's okay, aww, no, don't cry."

      Shut up.

      "Aw, you're crying? Aww."

I bit my tongue too hard.
