a few scars here and there,
the rest is a little bit clear,
she had to keep her mouth shut,
out of genuine fear,
because she knew people were bound to leave,
and so she had prepared herself,
kept everyone's names in different books,
placing them neatly in a shelf,
when they leave, she throws the books away,
and burns it down till none is left,
she didn't want to hurt her skin,
and decided to hurt her heart instead,
she knew people would cause her pain,
she didn't want that to happen,
so she would hurt herself more,
and leave herself all broken.
