undress yourself

two forms of undressing,
two forms of bareness,
one that you undress yourself,
showing your skin,
insecurities you want no one to see,
showing scars that never faded away,
blending in with the tone of your skin,
and one were you undress yourself
and bare your soul,
showing the truth of your past,
the reason why you are what you are now,
and all the horrors that became the reason why,
slicing open memories that felt like yesterday
and showing the traumas that came with it,
and you bare your soul,
and undress yourself,
silently saying,
take me as i am
or just let me be
see the things that forever changed me
and the traumas most people didn't see
silently speaking
an ounce of begging, maybe
that you accept me
for who i am
and everything that makes me, me.
