Karma sat grumpily on the couch, scooting as far away as he can from Nadia, who kept scooting closer and closer until she was practically sitting on his lap. He would have gladly pushed her off, but his parents were watching.
Natsuki had made tea for Karma and Nadia, hoping to ease the tension. "Alright, explanation" Karma tried to sound as respectful as he could. "Who is this chick and what is she doing in our house?"
Kagami sighed and took Karma's tea cup, seeing as his son didn't seem to like tea anyway. He took a sip before answering his son.
"Karma, this is Ken Nadia. Her father is the CEO of Ken corps, our company's rival" Kagami began. "Yes I know about your rivalry with Ken corps, you talk about your hatred for them a lot. I don't understand what any of that has to do with me and--" Karma looked at Nadia. "This"
"I have a name you know, Karma-chan" Nadia pouted, before smirking. "It isn't very polite referring to me like I'm not a person, I suggest if you want to make this work you'll have to fix that personality of yours"
"What do you mean 'make this work'?!" He turned to his parents. "Father? Mother!"
Natsuki lowered her head in shame, as she stepped back and stood behind her husband. Kagami gave Karma ma icy look. "Her company is suffering a huge financial loss, we are facing Bankruptcy" the older red head looked at his son dead in the eyes.
"Akabane Corps and Ken Corps has made an agreement. We will have a partnership, Ken corps will save our company if" he crossed his arms. "You, and the daughter of Ken Corps' CEO will be married"
"And you agreed?!" Karma looked at his father in disbelief. "Without talking to me about it first?!"
"Know your place Karma" Kagami growled dangerously. "Your mother and I tried to get a hold of you a few times, your mother insisted to talk to you first" he glared at Natsuki. "I did, tell you that this would be his reaction" he gave a 'tch' if disaproval.
Natsuki would have argued with her husband, but instead chose to bite her tongue and keep silent, avoiding her fuming son's look of betrayal and anger.
"In ten years, you will be wedded" Kagami stood up, towering over his son. "Unless you want to be homeless, a failure, and cut off from your inheritance, I suggest you fix yourself now and" he turned to Nadia. "As miss Ken said, make this work"
