Karma read the messages with a blank face.

ASSano Gakushit: Can we meet up? I'll let you beat me up a bit if you want

Karma resisted a smirk. His ex must be really desperate if he's willing to let Karma slap him around just to see him again. Normally he would have found this sweet, but now it's just sad.

"It's only been one day. I'm not seeing that prick again after only being broken up for just one day. If I'm really worth it he'll wait" Karma thought.

Me: Don't get the wrong idea asshole, I'm still pissed at you lot. But alright, how about tomorrow after ten then. At the park by the lake

He sent. That lake, that was where he and Asano went on their first date. The idiot got so embarrassed he jumped into the water, causing the boat to tip over and causing Karma to fall into the water too.

The red head almost laughed at the memory from not so long ago. But then he remembered that was probably a setup too, and Gakushū was only acting.

ASSano Gakushit: I'll be waiting

Karma scoffed. Okay then, tomorrow he can wait for hours.

A knock on the door caused the red head to raise his head. "Come in" he responded. The door opens and Nadia comes in. He narrowed his eyes at her. "What the hell do you want now Nadia?" He coldly demanded.

"Why so cold Karma-chan? You should be grateful, I saved you from a toxic relationship" Nadia responded crossing her arms, leaning against the door.

The girl had a bandage around her head, and several bandaids on both her cheeks. "Stop staring it's rude" Nadia snapped. "Funny you should say that, you've wanted my attention from the start"

"Not like this, jerk" Nadia snapped.

Karma was a little confused with the girl's new attitude. Usually, she was overly sweet to him, what's her deal now? Not that Karma was complaining, he was relieved really. But also suspicious.

"If you want to know, your ex-boyfriend's overprotective sister did this" she gestured to her face. "Nanami-san?" Karma barely fought off a smirk. Nadia was lucky it was only Nanami, if Karma had dealt with Nadia, he would have done much worse.

He would have rearranged her face entirely.

"But I won't have to worry about her or you ex anymore" Nadia almost laughed. "Y-you're mine now!"

"Get out" Karma growled. Nadia glared back at him, before rolling her eyes and back out of the room. "Just so you know Karma-chan, love doesn't really exist. Your ex is proof of that, I just saved you from a big mistake" Nadia placed her hands behind her back. "You have a beautiful future, don't waste it over a fantasy" and the girl left.

Karma stared at the spot where she was standing before.

"Is it bad, that I was willing to waste my future over a 'fantasy'? Because of how beautiful that fantasy was?" Karma whispered to himself.

Karma had surrounded himself with walls to protect himself and lines for him to never cross. But Gakushū destroyed those walls with a sledgehammer and washed away those lines with water. It will take Karma some time to rebuild those walls and remake the lines to protect himself again.

But does he even want to anymore?

"Gakushū was right. I really am, a fool"

"Mind cure?" Nadia flipped the card. She didn't need this did she? Her phone rang on her table, when she saw the ID she smiled with relief. "Hi daddy" she answered. Her smiled dropped when she heard her mother angrily yelling in the background.

"Natsuki" Kagami knocked on his wife's door. "What is it?" Her cold voice nearly made him flinch.

"Natsuki, I..." Tightening his fist, he placed his hand in his pocket.

"I want to visit Masami's grave"
