"Turn it off!" Rio yelled. Nagisa ran to the backstage in search of the switch to turn off the screen.
"Karma don't read that!" Isogai yelled, but this turned out to be a mistake. As Karma turned his glaring, furious eyes at the black haired boy. "Don't read that?" He pointed at the texts on screen.
"Oh dear, your precious boy-toy turned out to be a lying scumbag after all Karma-chan" Nadia mocked. "Well, the way I see is. You've fallen in love with Asano-kun so that means the game is over. Asano-kun you can stop pretending to actually love him now!" She waved at Gakushū, who stood frozen in his place.
"Say something" Itona pushed Gakushū's back. "Say something damn it!" He looked at Karma, who had left the stage and was walking towards them. Itona took several steps back and stood with Rio.
"Gakushū" Karma stood infront of the still frozen boy.
He pointed at the screen. "What's that?"
"K-Karma it's not what it looks like! I mean.." Nagisa tried to defend, but Kayano placed a hand on his shoulder, and shook her head, silencing the boy.
"Text messages" Gakushū felt stupid for his reply but he couldn't function properly. His secret was out.
And Karma was....
Karma looked blank. His eyes were hard to read. Very hard to read, he didn't know if Karma hated him or was angry. And it terrified Gakushū, knowing he can't understand Karma.
"Fill me in" Karma demanded. He looked around at the people surrounding them. Parents, school mates, his friends. "Anyone care to fucking fill me in?!" Karma demanded through gritted teeth.
"Almost a month ago" Gakushū began, earning Karma's attention once more. "Ren dared me to make you fall in love with me, in thirty days" he had to keep talking, he had to defend himself somehow because Karma's fury was leaking out murderous intent and he could tell the red head was being holding himself back.
" I tried to tell you the truth twice! The first time Nagisa interrupted us, the second..you fell asleep on me!"
"So you just gave up completely? After two failed attempts?!" Karma gave him a look of disbelief. "Everything has been a lie from the start, you were right Asano-kun. I really am a fool" he laughed coldly. "An even bigger fool, and oh so pathetic!"
"Karma!" Rio stepped in. "Listen Asano called off the dare a long time ago!"
"It's true we were all there!" Isogai added.
"All of you were in onthis?!" Karma whirled around to look at his so called friends. "You all knew?!"
"No! I mean...not entirely" Nagisa stepped forward. "W-We were.." he couldn't find the right words.
"It was Ren and me" Rio admitted. "The rest had nothing to do with this...w-well, I mean.."
"But they still knew and no one told me the truth!" Karma screamed. Gakushū's eyes widened when he saw the small tears gathering in Karma's eyes.
Karma was breaking. Right infront of them.
"We didn't want to meddle more than we already did!" This time it was Itona. "We thought we were doing the right thing"
"By lying to my fucking face all month?! HA?! ITONA!"
"Karma!" Gakushū held Karma's shaking arm, only to feel sharp pain come from his jaw when Karma's fist collided with it.
"What the fuck gaki!" Nanami was held back by Mira, but just barely. "Nanami-sama, don't get involved! Please just step back for once and let your brother fix the consequences of his mistake" Mira pleaded.
Karma glared down at Gakushū, feeling embarrassed, stupid, angry, and betrayed.
It wasn't just Gakushū. His friends betrayed him too.
It was happening again, Karma was so angry that his vision was darkening. Looking at Gakushū now, at his bloodied lip, Karma realized he had to leave before he ends up doing something he might regret later.
Like send Gakushū to the hospital.
The red head ran into the forest. "Karma!" Gakushū ran after him.
"We should go after them!" Nagisa was about to run to the forest, but Korosensei stopped him. "No Nagisa, this is something that Karma and Asano should settle alone. No one is allowed to interfere"
"But what if Karma or Asano gets hurt?" Kayano worriedly asked. "And Karma is angry he might do something he'll regret later!"
"Karma may be a violent person when angry, and yes his mind is dark at the moment. But we all know, for a fact, that no matter what he can't hurt the person he loves"
"THAT'S STUPID AND CRINGEY AS FUCK I MEAN DIDN'T YOU SEE HIM PUNCH MY BROTHER?! We have to go after them! That's a forest for fuck's sake and it's getting dark! " Nanami yelled angrily. She then turned to the people who had witnessed the entire drama unfold.
"The drama's over! Get lost! All of you! Shoo! Shoo! Leave!"
Itona turned to the stage where Nadia was still standing on the stage.
He walked up to the Asano, and tapped her shoulder. "What?" She narrowed her eyes at him.
"I suggest you direct your anger at someone who deserves it" he pointed over at Nadia.
Everyone glared at the beaming girl who couldn't care less that she was the subject of bloodlust and anger. Oh how they so badly wanted to kill that girl!
Nanami wordlessly approached the stage.
