"Why so gloomy Asano?" Itona was the next to see him. Asano was a little annoyed that students kept coming and going into the Council room as they pleased.

Itona, rather than using the door like a normal person, used the window to get inside. "Hasn't this guy ever heard of a door?" He thought as the boy invited himself in, sliding down the glass window.

"Have you told Karma yet?" Seeing Asano's look of shame a small grin appeared on Itona's face. "Oh, so you haven't? Are you really that much of a lying douche?"

"Shut up" Asano slammed his pen down. "I was going to"

"But?" Gakushū really wanted to punch the grin off the boy's face, but held himself back. As tempting as it was, letting his anger get the best of him won't solve his problems.

Angry at his failure with Karma's father, and now failing to tell Karma the truth, Gakushū 's frustrations were eating him from inside.

Itona seemed to be really enjoying his turmoil, as the boy sat on top of his desk, legs, tucked beneath him. This time Gakushū stood up, not wanting the white haired asshole to look down on him.

"I--We had an interruption" Gakushū muttered. "Oops, Nagisa came at a bad time eh?"

"You sent him?!"

"How was I supposed to know Karma would be here" Itona glared. "But then again, I forgot he seemed to be always around you. Annoyingly"

"I thought you would be helping me" Gakushū looked at him in disbelief. Itona scoffed, and waved a hand dismissively. "I said I wouldn't tell Karma about your dare, that is your part to play. You forgot that I still like Karma and seeing him everyday with you is like something planted on the back of my head slowly killing me"

"That's oddly specific" Gakushū rolled his eyes. These E-class students were really strange, some in a good way, others in...in a just plain weird way.

"It stings" Itona continued. "Really stings" the boy got off the desk and went to the window.

"Seriously doesn't he know how to use a door?"

"Hey, do you know why Karma was sent to E-class?" Itona suddenly sounded more gentle. But Gakushū didn't trust the boy and refused to let his guard down.

"For his violent behaviour" Gakushū answered.

"That's all they told you?" Itona leant against the wall. "Karma trusted a teacher. I guess that teacher was apparently, very good to him. He opened up and they became close, from what Nagisa told me. His teacher said some bullshit like, as long as knows he's in the right, that teacher would stay by his side"

"And then?"

Itona tried to bite back a smirk. "But Karma defended an E-class student, and beat up the bully so badly he had to be sent to the hospital. His dearly trusted teacher, was...not pleased" Itona pretended to think. "Scratch that...he was really angry at Karma. As it turns out, he only pretended to care for Karma, only siding with him because of his grades. But because he defended an E-class student, and mercilessly beat up a student who couldn't defend themself, his teacher got so angry and said he would be suspended and later on sent to E-class"

Gakushū was afraid to know more, but he had to. "And what did he do?"

"According to Karma, his vision turned black and the next thing he knows is his body moved on it's own and he was destroying the classroom. He beat up the teacher a little bit too but, he said his body just shut down and he" Itona looked at Gakushū's violet eyes. "He just left"

______________

It was the end of the school day, everyone excited to go home and rest before preparing one final day for the festival for the day after tomorrow.

Gakushū found himself walking to a store and buying himself a bike. He plugged his earphones and set the music to 'No one Goes' from that movie about dragons that he really liked.

A little while later, he found himself staring down at his mother's grave.

Sitting down, with his back against the tree, he closed his eyes and let the music distract him.

"I suppose that explains why Karma trusts so little" the red head having no one to turn to, no one to trust. "That's why he built those walls around himself"

And he singlehandedly broke the walls down. Though, this was an achievement he was ashamed to had accomplished. This meant that now Karma was vulnerable and easily to be hurt. "I'm the worst" he gripped the grass.

He imagined Karma resting beside him, head on his shoulder, or maybe his lap so he could play with his hair.

All the kisses he gave Karma, the flirting and the compliments. What would Karma think of him if--when he finds out this began with a lie?

Does this mean their relationship is a lie?

_______________

Gakushū: hey. Could you come to mom's meadow right now?
5:00pm

Me: sure, I needed to leave the house anyway
5:20pm

Karma put his phone in his jacket before leaving his room and running outside, leaving a quick note for his mother to find. It was cryptic, and vague but he knew his mother would understand.

When he reached the meadow, he found his boyfriend crawled to a ball, his face buried in his knees. Karma knelt down infront of him, his hand gently caressing Gakushū's strawberry blonde locks.

"Oi, what's wrong Gakushū?"

Gakushū raised his head, a shadow casting over his eye.

"Sit down"
