Day 3

Gakushū was abruptly woken from his nap by Ren hitting him with his paper fan. "Yes!" He screamed loudly, causing the entire class to look at him as if he had grown a second head, the lecturer gave him a questioning look.

Ren covered his mouth to hide his smile while Gakushū glared at him promising many nasty things. Though he should feel grateful, Ren woke him before the teacher or anyone else noticed he was sleeping in class.

Which has never ever happened before. Still, the strawberry blonde couldn't help but feel annoyed.

"S-sorry, carry on" the strawberry blonde muttered embarrassed, giving everyone his 'perfect student' smile.

After class, Gakushū avoided his virtuoso min-- friends and wandered around campus aimlessly instead, skipping lunch. He wondered if the red haired delinquent was skipping lunch too, or if they were still having classes but the boy chose to ditch.

He didn't know what the hell had gotten into him yesterday. He had panicked and started saying nonsense to get the red head to stop questioning him.

Ending up with him telling the red head how lonely he was

"I'm not that lonely, I have the virtuosos and....I can see my father is slowly changing"

How he thought him and Karma were the same

"Haha, no"

That he could see through Karma's mask, that he was a lonely attention seeker who comes home to an empty house

"He looked ready to kill me when I said that, I don't blame him, I was getting personal"

He said he thought that the red head would understand him

And after that, the two ate in icy silence. He was just about to go but then the red head called for him at the living room, asking if he knew how to play video games.

Asano had no idea how, because his dad never got him any games. According to his 'father dearest' games were a waste of time. So yea, his childhood consisted of him locked in his room reading books, and the only toy he ever had was one stuffed bear with a missing button eye.

To put it short his childhood sucked.

But he didn't want to give Akabane another reason to think he is superior to the Asano so he flat out lied, smugly boasting about how he's a natural.

He ended up getting destroyed by the red head.

"Rematch!" He had yelled.

He was obliterated barely two seconds in the game.

Gakushū bit the inside of his cheek to prevent himself from smiling at yesterday's events.

It was a bruise to his giant ego, losing to Akabane in the exams, the pole toppling challenge, and now at childish games.

But he couldn't help it, Akabane's face was glued to his brain. That 'Haha you suck I'm better than you' expression wouldn't leave his mind.

He found it really funny.

Or was it something else?

"Asano-kun?"

The strawberry blonde halted. Infront of him was the boy who was occupying his thoughts.

It was then Gakushū realized he had wandered up the mountain and into the forest.

Akabane suddenly grew devil horns and a tail, as he smiled deviously at him

Or was it just his imagination?

When he blinked the devil horns and tail were gone.

"Skipping class too eh? What happened to the perfectionist, goody two shoes student council president? I seem to be a bad influence on you Asano-kun, a very bad influence" said Karma as he skipped towards him, standing an arm's length away.

"Of course not, it's lunch now. I would never skip a class, unlike a certain slacker Infront of me" Gakushū defended. Well he is skipping lunch right now...does that count?

"P.E. is boring without the octopus, so I didn't see the point in staying there. I'll make up tomorrow"

"Octopus?"

"What?"

"You said octopus"

"No I didn't"

"Yes you did, you clearly said you're P.E class is boring without an octopus, what does that mean?"

Karma put a hand on his forehead and gave him a mock concerned look. "Are you sick again Asano-kun?" Smirking slightly he added. "Want me to play nurse for you?"

Gakushū pushed the laughing red head away and crossed his arms. E-class is definitely hiding something. Is the word Octopus a code?

When the red head's laughter died down, Gakushū asked for a nice place to nap. "I didn't sleep at all last night, and  when I checked the vending machine they didn't have any canned coffee"

"You fell asleep in class did you?" Karma grins, showing his perfect white teeth and sharp canines. "No" Gakushū lied.

"Whatever, follow me" without waiting for his reply, the red head went a head, leaving the mountain's trail and going deeper into the woods.

Gakushū wasn't sure if he should follow the red head or not. It could be a trap, the red head could be leading him to a prank.

When the red head turned around to face him, he raised a brow. "I thought you said you wanted a place to nap?"
