The gang started coming to the Curtis house around 7. I was hanging with my boyfriend Soda for the night. We were just hanging out when Two-Bit had an idea.

"Wanna play truth or dare?"

"That's a game for girls who go to sleepovers." Said Dally.

"No it's not! I played it with a group of girls and boys back in school!" I piped in.

"I think it's a good idea." Said Soda.

We all went into living room.

"I'll go first." Said Two-Bit. "Pony, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Do you like Cherry?"

Pony looked down. "Well, not exactly. I did, but then she insulted Johnny and the gang."

"She's a crazy broad." Said Dally.

"Yep. Soda, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"Do you still have feelings for Sandy?"

I blushed. We were going to bring that up now?

He hesitated. "No."

"You hesitated!" Cried Pony. "Tell the truth?"

I was watching him closely. "I don't. Well, I did for a while after she left me but I think I've gotten over her."

I was angry. "You think?! You think you got over that bitch?!"

Soda winced. "Sophie, I didn't mean it like that!"

"Oh really? After she left you, you and I got together! And now I'm hearing that you still had feelings for her while you started dating me? That is not cool!"

"Sophie, I'm sorry!"

The gang was watching this play out. It was the least of my worries.

"Sorry doesn't cut it this time. For months I've been listening to your stories of when you and Sandy were together. I even brushed off the fact when you compared me to her!"

"I did?"

" 'You know Sophie,' " I mimicked, " 'Sandy didn't mind when I hung out with Steve for a long time!' "

Soda looked upset. "I didn't mean any of that!"

"I can't take this anymore! Evie warned me that you would be like this! I should've realized it!"

Soda began to get frustrated. "You know, I had heard some things about you from Steve."

I looked at Steve who said "leave me out of this!"

"Let me hear it."

"He heard that you were quite a bitch in high school."

I laughed. "Me? A bitch? You're hilarious! I was the one who got good grades! I never got detentions! I was never mean to anyone!" I was almost in tears. "You know what Soda? We should've discussed this Sandy issue before we started dating. I'm done with this. I'm leaving."

I walked out the door and ran to the lot, crying. Did Soda and I just break up? I can't believe Sandy got in the way. She wasn't even living in Tulsa anymore and she still ruined the relationship!

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I jumped.

"It's just me."

"What do you want Soda?" I snapped.

"I'm sorry. I should've known not talking about Sandy would've gotten in the way eventually. I'm such an idiot!"

"I know."

"Hey!" He laughed a bit. "Let's get something straight: I have absolutely no feelings for Sandy anymore. Did I have some when we first got together? Yes. I admit that. But, as soon as we kissed, those feelings disappeared. Can you forgive me?"

I looked into his blue eyes and smiled. "I can. And lets never let that little brat get in the way again."

Soda kissed me long and passionately. "Agreed."
