For @sophie_dallas

"Two-Bit, please-"

"No Sophie! Haven't you already done enough damage as it is?"

My brother Two and I had been fighting a lot lately, but tonight was the last straw. I was caught shoplifting a pack of beer for Two-Bit. The police didn't arrest me, but I got a large fee to pay, and we used almost all out money on that.

"The beer was for you!"

"You didn't have to shoplift it! You have money!"

"You shoplift all the time!"

"That's because I know what I'm doing!"

The screaming match went on and on. Finally, Two-Bit said something that he would regret for years.

"I wish you weren't my sister! In fact, I wish you didn't live in Tulsa. You should just leave."

I gasped. Tears filled my eyes. "Fine."
I stormed out and headed to the bus stop. I couldn't believe my stupid brother would say something like that. But if he wanted me to leave, then I would.

I got to the bus stop and sat down.

"Sophie?" Called a familiar voice.

Great. I forgot the DX was right next to the bus stop.

"Sophie!" Soda ran over and kissed me. "Hi love. What brings you to th-is everything okay?"

"No." And with that I burst into tears.

I told Soda everything that had happened with me and Two-Bit. He held me as I cried and told me it was going to be okay. He took me to his house where the gang was. I told them everything.

"Dumbass," mumbled Dally.

"Look Sophie, you ain't going anywhere. You know Two loves you, so just stay! He'll apologize!" Said Darry.

"You're right."

"Besides," added Soda, "I won't have anyone to hug or kiss if you're gone."

I smiled. "All right. I'll stay."

There was a knock on the door. Steve opened it and there was Two-Bit standing on the porch.

"What do you want?" I snapped.

"Sophie, I'm really sorry for the way I treated you. I was afraid you had really run off. I really don't know why I yelled at you for it; I always shoplift too."

"It's okay. I'm sorry for shoplifting. I should've just bought the beer."

"It's okay. It's not your fault that there are alarms in that store." He laughed. "Are you ready to go? Mom has a night off for once."

You gave Soda a kiss goodbye. "Thanks so much!" You said. Then you followed your brother home.

Hope you enjoyed it!
