"I'm going out." Said Cherry.
"Okay." My mother said.
"Okay." My father said.
"Wait. Just where are you going?" I asked my younger sister.
"Oh um just out."
"Tell me."
"Why should I?"
"Tell me where you're going or I'll tell mom about the DX incident."
She winced. I knew I had won. "Alright! I'm going to the movies with my friends!"
"Lies. Where are you really going?"
"Ugh fine! I was going to go to this cool party across town but I know it ain't happenin' anymore!"
She was talking about Buck's infamous parties.
"God no! Those parties are crazy! Mom and dad would kill you!"
"Like they care. We're allowed to do anything! Mom said and I quote 'I trust you both well. You've grown up into fine young ladies. You can do just about anything now.'"
I sighed. She wasn't going to give up without a fight.
"Alright fine. You can go to one of those parties BUT I'm coming with you."
"Deal."
We headed out in my mustang and drove the few miles to the party. I couldn't believe we were doing this.
When we pulled up, there were drunk people everywhere. I looked at Cherry and scowled.
"Now don't you think about drinkin' any beer. Mom and dad wouldn't allow it."
"Fine."
I went inside and sat down. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want Cherry to be here. This was a nightmare.
"Hello gorgeous." A voice slurred. Great. A drunk.
I turned around and saw a familiar face. My ex.
"Bob! What are you doing here?!" I was more terrified than I was angry. Bob is quite horrible when he's drunk.
"Looking for that girl Cherry. She's hot and I want her now!"
I stood up and slapped him "NOT MY SISTER!"
He looked at me and smirked. Then he grabbed my arms. "Do you really want to fight right now?"
"Let's do it."
Bob lunged at me but before I could stop him, someone else did. They fought for a bit, and Bob was thrown out. Thank god that ass is gone!
This mysterious person turned to me.
"I'm Dallas. Dallas Winston. And you're pretty hot if I say so myself. Do you know who I am?"
"You're pretty famous, Dallas. Of course I know about you."
My family hated him but I always thought he was cute!
"So anyways, you okay?"
"Yeah I am."
"What happened out there?"
"Well he tried to put the moves on my sister and I got angry. That's basically it."
"We've got a fighter here! That makes you even hotter!"
I smiled. The Dallas Winston thought I was hot. Then I did something I told myself not to do if I ever met Dallas.
I kissed him.
He seemed shocked at first, but then he kissed back.
"Thank you," I said when I pulled away.
He smirked. "No problem. You're the first girl here that didn't slap me when I talked to them."
"Well maybe I'm special. Look I should go."
"Okay. Will I ever see you again?"
"You'll have to find me." I waved, grabbed Cherry and we left.
A few days later, I saw Dallas.
"So we meet again." He said.
"Hello Dally. Do you even know my name?"
He smirked at me.
"Katherine. It's Katherine."
"So we meet again Katherine. How about you meet me at the Dingo at 6?"
"Sounds like a plan."
He leaned in and kissed me.
"See you then!"
I met Dally right at 6 that night. We had our date and the rest is history.
