Sandy?!

Soda's POV

"Hey Darry?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"The gang should go to the beach or something."
"Good idea! Let's call them!"
After a half hour of calling, the gang was on our front lawn.
"Guys, we're goin' to the beach! Road trip!" I shouted.
"YAY!!"
We got in the cars, me, Darry, and Steve in Darry's car, Dally, Johnny, Pony, and Two-Bit in Dally's..er...Buck's car. In about an hour we got to the beach.
"Okay," Darry began. "Stay together. I don't want anyone to get lost or hurt."
But it was too late; everyone was gone.
"Figures," Darry laughed.
Steve and I headed for the water. It was freezing! We hung out there for a while and then Steve got hungry. We headed to the concession stand.
"Steve, get me a Coke. I'm gonna hang out over here."
"Sure,"
I went to sit down over in the shade. I was watching Pony and Johnny play in the water, when something caught my eye. It was a girl! She had really pretty blond hair. She kinda reminded me of Sandy. Ugh! It still hurts to think about Sandy! I miss her so much! Then the girl turned around.
"Holy sh-," I trailed off. It was Sandy! I ran over to Steve
"STEVE! STEVE!" I nearly crashed into him.
"What the hell man?"
"It's Sandy! She's here!" I didn't know if I should be upset or excited.
"Really? You're probably mistak-oh look, there she is. Oh dear god."
"Should I talk to her? Or should I ignore her? But what would I say? What do you-"
Steve cut me off. "Whoa! Relax! It's your choice! I don't know what you should do!"
"Okay. I won't. I'll try to ignore her."
Steve and I headed back to Darry, when someone tapped my shoulder.
"Can I help yo-oh! Um...uh...hi Sandy!" Crap. She spotted me.
"Hey Soda! How have you been?" Her sweet voice was killing me.
"I'm good. Why are you here?"
"Um, my fiancé and my child wanted to take a vacation here." She said awkwardly.
"Oh um, cool!" I tried to stay positive.
"Hey Sandy." Said Darry. Darry looked very unhappy that she was here.
"Hey Darrel! How have you guys been?"
"Good."
"That's good! Look, um...Soda? Can I talk to you? In private?"
I looked at Darry. He shrugged.
"Sure! I guess."
She pulled me over and looked at me. She was still as beautiful as ever. Ugh! I can't think about this!
"Look, I haven't felt the same as I did with you. I mean, my fiancé isn't even close to you! I think I want you back." She said quietly.
My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe she said that! I didn't know what to say! Or believe.
"I...uh...um"
"NO!"
I turned around and Pony and Darry were comin' over.
"Absolutely not!" Said Pony. "I heard everything you said. You cheated on him! Why would he want you back?! And now, you're doing the same thing to your fiancé! What the hell?!" Pony was furious.
Sandy looked down. "You're right," she said quietly, "I shouldn't of done that. I'll see you 'round Soda." Sandy turned away, but turned back and kissed me.
"Sandy," Darry warned.
"Sorry." She walked off.
I was stunned. I didn't know what to do or stay.
"You okay?" Darry asked, concerned.
"Yeah. Let's just go home."
"Okay. I'll grab the gang."
About a half hour later, we packed up and headed out.
"Are you sure you're okay Soda?" Pony asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." But I didn't know if I was okay or not. I guess I fell asleep, because Darry was shaking me.
"Hey little buddy. We're home."
"Cool."
"I know it was rough seeing her. You'll feel better soon, I promise."
"I know. It just hurts."
"Just get some sleep."
The following day was devoted to me. It was really nice of my brothers!
"Thanks guys! I feel so much better!"
"No problem!" They said. And soon enough, I forgot about her.

Question: what do you guys think of Sandy?
I think that her and Soda were an amazing couple and I thought they were so cute! But, now I don't like her because she broke Soda's heart. Otherwise, I think they would of been a perfect couple!!
