I walked in to see Soda upset for the 4 time this week. His now ex-girlfriend, Sandy, had cheated on him, got pregnant and moved to Florida. She said they would still be friends and talk, but every time Soda writes her letter, she returns it unopened. He doesn't seem to realize that she ain't gonna write back!

"Hey best friend!" I said, putting my arm around him.

"Hey."

"What's wrong?" I already knew what was wrong.

"Sandy. She promised we'd still be friends, but it's not happening! I wish that things could back to the way they used to b-" I couldn't take it anymore. I slapped him without realizing I did.

He looked at me. "What was that for?!"

"I don't know okay?! Just stop talking about Sandy! She cheated on you for god's sake! Why do you want her back?! And besides, I think I love you!" I covered my mouth quickly. He smirked.

"What was that last sentence?"

"Nothing. But please, stop talking 'bout Sandy!"

"You're right. I am a little obsessed with her. Now what was that about you loving me?"

"Nothing."

"Come on (y/n)!"

"Nothing!"

"I think I love you too."

"Really?!"

He smiled. "Yeah. I do."

"Oh. Wow." I didn't know what to say.

"You've been so great to me this past month. After all the stuff that happened with Pony and Sandy, I realized how I lucky I am to have you as a friend. And I want to know if you'll be my girl."

I responded by kissing him.

"Yes."
