Ponyboy Imagine

"Ponyboy and (y/n). You guys will be lab partners. Is that okay?"
"Sure!" We both said.
I didn't really know Pony that well. I know he's a Greaser (I'm a Soc) and his friend Johnny died.
"Hi! I'm Pony!" He smiled. He sure was cute!
"I'm (y/n)!" I said back. I may be a Soc, but my parents told me to be kind to everyone. Besides, this whole Soc-Greaser thing was stupid.
"Do you want to come to my house to work on the lab today? I'm assuming your parents don't want me to step foot in your house." He asked.
"Sure! And my parents wouldn't mind. They're not home half the time and they're wouldn't care if you were a Greaser or an alien!" I laughed.
He blushed. "Is my house at 6 okay?"
"Yeah! See you then!"
I was pretty excited. Pony seemed pretty cool!

Pony's POV:

I headed home to get ready for (y/n). I've had a crush on her for years! We've been in school together since 6th grade. She always seemed nice but she was a Soc. I never thought she'd want to be seen with me! I guess I was wrong.
"Soda! Darry! I have a friend coming over! We need to work on a project!" I said as I got home.
"Okay that's fine. Who is it?" Asked Darry.
"(Y/N)."
"Who?" Asked Soda.
"(Y/N). She's a Soc, but she's really nice. She doesn't seem to care that we're Greasers."
"Cool! That's fine!" Said Darry. He went back to cooking dinner.
"Ooh Pony's bringin' a girl home!" Laughed Soda.
"Shut your trap Soda! I hardly know her!" That was a lie. I've known her for a long time. I just never mentioned her to my brothers.
The doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" I called.

Your POV:

"Hey Pony!" I said.
"Hey (y/n)!" He said back. "Come on in! Have you eaten? Otherwise Darry made food."
"I'm fine thank you."
"Soda, Darry! This is (y/n)." He said.
"Hi!" Said Darry.
"Hi!" Said Soda. Soda was pretty cute too!
"I've got everything in my room. I was thinking we spilt the lab into two parts; you do one part I do the other?"
"Sounds good!" I said. We headed to Pony's room. He shut the door.
I began to work on my part when I felt Pony staring at me.
"Everything okay?" I asked.
"Oh! Yeah! Sorry. I was just thinking."
"Haha that's okay!" Pony was really sweet. And really cute! I wish Soc guys were like him.
I worked for a few more minutes when I felt Pony's eyes on me again.
"Are you sure everything's okay Pony?"
"Yeah. I have to tell you something."
"Um, okay?" I was confused.
"I like you a lot. I've liked you since 6th grade, (y/n)."
I blushed. "Really?"
"Yeah. You're really sweet. You're not like any other Soc girl. You're not like any other girl for that matter. I like you a lot. And I was wonderin' if you'd be my girl."
I smiled. He was so sweet and amazing. "Yes. I'd love to."
