A few days ago I met a boy named Johnny. He was so cute! Like a puppy dog! Little did I know, he wasn't as innocent as I thought...
Johnny and I were sitting in the lot, having a good time, when suddenly he gasped.
"What? Is everything okay?" I asked.
He was pale. "Yeah! Just come with me for a second."
We ran into the bushes and hid. A minute later he sighed.
"Okay we're clear."
"Johnny, what is going on?!"
He took a deep breath before speaking.
"Here's the thing, before I met you, I was told I had to kill you."
"WHAT?"
"Let me finish. I was sent to kill you, but as soon as I met you, I couldn't. You were too cute and adorable. I love your glasses and your brown hair! But there's one problem: if I fail, then I will be killed."
"Oh my god. Oh my god! That's terrible!"
"There's only one way to deal with this, we have to hide!"
"Where?"
"I don't know, we'll have leave Tulsa."
"If that's what it takes,"
I gave him a kiss. He kissed back, until he gasped again. There was a dark, mysterious person standing at the end of the lot.
"This is not good." He whispered. "Come on!"
We tried to run, but the figure pulled out a gun. They shot at us, but thankfully they missed. We ran out of the lot, to the train.
"I guess we're leaving quicker than I thought." I laughed, half-joking.
We hopped on the train.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"I think we're heading to Texas."
We rode the train for what I thought was forever. Soon, we were in Texas.
"Are you ready to start our new life?" Johnny asked.
"I guess."
Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed me.
"JOHNNY!" I screamed.
"You thought you could escape me? Well you two were wrong. Way wrong."
I looked up. It was my ex. "Hello again, Maria."
I looked away, tears in my eyes.
"It's time for you to pay for what you did. As for you Johnny, you failed. I'm going to kill you too!" He laughed manically.
My ex pulled out a gun and held it to my temple. "Say your goodbyes brat!"
I shut my eyes and waited for my death. The gun went off, but I didn't die. I opened my eyes slowly. My ex was on the ground, dead.
Johnny was standing above him, a gun in his hands. "Did I-I just d-do that?" He whispered.
I pulled him into a hug. "Thank you." I kissed him. "Let's go home."
We rode the train back to Tulsa and walked back to the Curtis house.
"Where have you guys been?!" Shouted Dally.
"There was some crazed maniac outside and we though you were goners!" Cried Pony.
"We're okay." Johnny smiled.
"So, how was your day?" Asked Pony.
We looked at each other. "Interesting, thanks for asking."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it started while we were at the lot..."
