Reconcilation (GOT7 Mark) [Romance, Cute, Apology]

A sudden scream pierced your ears, and you covered them in annoyance. Not this again. You sighed as you looked back to see girls squealing at the school's Prince, Mark Tuan. And next to him, his Princess, and your ex-best friend, Lilah Terria. Mark looked handsome as usual, coolly living up to the title of 'Prince', while Lila looked as pretty as ever.

You scoffed, turning back to your lunch and plugging your headphones in. I don't need to hear this nuisance. You thought it had finally calmed down, when someone tapped your shoulder. You growled in annoyance and turned around, surprised to see Mark and Lilah standing there. "Hi!" Lilah greeted brightly. You raised an eyebrow, looking between them.

"What do you want?" You asked gruffly. "All the tables are taken, can we sit here with you?" Mark said softly. He didn't talk much, so hearing him say something surprised you. "No, I was finished anyway. You can take the table." You said, waving them off and taking your tray. "Aww,______-ah, stay with us! You don't have to be such a loner all of the time." Lilah exclaimed.

You froze, slowly looking back at her. She just called you by your childhood nicknames for each other, something you hadn't heard in a long time. It hurt you... "Don't call me that. And for the record, I like being alone." You growled. You threw your food away and quickly walked out of the room, holding your pain back.

"_______-ah.....Mark and I are dating now." Lilah said, her head down in apology. Your eyes widened at the sentence, turning around to look at her. "W-what?" You murmured. She looked at you, tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry, I couldn't keep my feelings back. I've liked him for a really long time now, you know that, and...and...I guess he liked me too." She murmured.

Your heart ached at the confession. Yes, you and your best friend liked Mark, though for completely different reasons. You had decided to keep your feelings back so your friendship wouldn't be broken, but in the end, Lilah broke the promise and asked him out anyways. It broke your heart knowing your best friend could throw your friendship so easily out the window.
