Maria's POV

Klaus didn't want to leave Elena's side until she was bled dry, I however, didn't feel like watching her bleed out slowly so I went upstairs.

Klaus and I decided it was best to leave town, so once he got enough blood, we were gone.

We needed to find a way to kill Alaric, but staying in Mystic Falls wasn't safe for any of us right now. I still suggested we just kill Elena and get it over with, Klaus didn't like that idea very much. He wanted to find a way that saved Elena for his Hybrids.

Klaus told Stefan and Damon earlier that we all came from his blood line, I was hoping that meant they would stop trying to kill Klaus, not if all of us wanted to die with him.

I heard Klaus teasing Elena earlier, trying to scare her. He even asked who she would've chosen between Stefan and Damon, only for her to tell him to go to hell which kinda made me laugh a little. Klaus and I had one thing in common, we both enjoyed petty drama.

I laid in bed, scrolling through my phone mindlessly.

The sound of the door creaking open snaps me out of my thoughts. My eyes widen when I see who walks through the door, her signature smirk on her face.

"Miss me?"

In a second, I'm face to face with her. Her smirk only deepens at my reaction.

"Katherine. What the hell are you doing here?" I growl, my voice low. Klaus was just downstairs, how stupid was she?

Katherine arches her eyebrow, looking me up and down. Her eyes landing on the ring around my finger, "Didn't think the rumours were true. I can't believe you had it in you to bag the strongest vampire around.. tell me.. does being with him make you feel powerful?" She teases, her voice sarcastic.

"You know what's going to happen when Klaus finds you, right? Don't be dumb Katherine, leave now and maybe you'll live to see another day."

Katherine giggles at my words, a smile forming on her face. "Aw. You think you scare me. Don't forget who practically raised you." Her response makes me roll my eyes.

She steps away from me, looking around the room. I'm surprised Klaus hasn't even heard her yet.

"You know you're quite famous in the supernatural world now." She tells me, her fingers tracing the dresser as she walks around the room examining everything.

"Maria Mikaelson. That's what they call you."

I cross my arms against my chest, "That's why you're here? To tell me some people that I really couldn't care less about, know I'm with Klaus? Ohh.. such a big deal."

It's her turn to roll her eyes, she finally turns to face me.

"That's not the only rumours about you.. although I'm not sure if I should say, I wouldn't want the big bad hybrid to be angry with you if he somehow overheard."

"Oh yeah? And what may those rumours be?"

Katherine smirks, "They say you are torn between two. Klaus and Kol. I mean, if I didn't know the truth, I'd think you'd be with Kol. You two have way more in common than you do with Klaus but then.. everyone marries the wrong person the first time."

I narrow my eyes, how could people know that? Was he telling people about me?

I open my mouth to tell her she's wrong but nothing comes out. Katherine grins, "I was lying actually, nobody knows about you and Kol. Only I do now. Thanks for telling me sis."
