Maria's POV

"Mystic Falls high school?" I question, Klaus had parked the truck somewhere safe and finally let Stefan wake up. We all stood outside and waited for Klaus' move.

"I have a inkling that the thing I'm looking for is here."

Klaus began to walk inside, the three of us stood in our spot. "Maria come with me. Rebekah take Stefan with you."

I took a silent deep breath before walking towards Klaus and following him in the building, looking back to see Stefan and Rebekah already gone.

Right before I was about to say something, Klaus held up his hand to shush me. We stood by each other as a door from another hallway opened and of course, in walked Elena Gilbert.

She had a smile on her face as she looked at the ground, but once she nearly bumped into Klaus, her smile falls from her face. She looks between Klaus and I quickly, a gasp leaving her mouth.

"Klaus..." She mutters before turning around in one fast motion, but before she can leave through the door again, Klaus vamp sped around her and blocked her from going anywhere.

"There's my girl, you were supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?"

Klaus gripped Elena's arm and pushed through the door, she attempted to pull herself free but it obviously wouldn't work with Klaus's strong grip holding her.

She turned back to look at me as he dragged her through the hall, I wanted to ask about Matt and Beth and why she was dumb enough to be out and about right now but it didn't seem like a good time at all.

Klaus walked straight into the gym, which I merely recognized from when I went to school here for that short period of time.

"You've been busted. Party's over, run along now." Klaus yelled out in the fakest American accent I've heard yet.

A few kids groaned and made their way to the exit, "Uh you two. Come here." Klaus walked over to them, still dragging Elena behind him. He then stopped in his tracks in front of them and pulled Elena roughly beside him.

"How about you two do everything I say?" Klaus compelled both the two random teenagers and I furrowed my eyebrows as I walked closer to them slowly.

"What's your names?" He asks and the guy tells him.

"Dana, I want you to stand on one foot, if she falls, I want you to beat her to death."

Elena's eyes widened and I could feel mine did as well, "Klaus- you don't have to do this. I'm already-"

"Shut it, I wouldn't test my patience right now love." He cut off Elena's words and she shut her mouth tightly.

Klaus then pushed her to the side and she caught herself on the floor near the couple, "Where's Stefan? What did you do to him?" Elena questioned a second later as she got herself up from the floor.

Klaus let out a small sigh, "Stefan's on a time out."

Before I could get a word in, another door to the gym opened and at first only Bonnie made an appearance. But right after, Matt and Beth walked in right behind her.

I cursed over and over again in my head, Klaus glanced at me but in that moment I could tell what his next moves were.

The same time he vamp sped towards them, I do too and because I was closer to them I got there first. Bonnie stood beside me, whereas I stood in front of Matt and Beth, both their wrists in a tight grip in my hand. Klaus appeared in front of me, a deep scowl on his face.
