CLARA

For the past two weeks, I have been avoiding Tyler to the max. As she is the head of her department, she will be having a meeting in my office with me today. I have been throwing up all week too. When it first started, I thought it was because the night before Lee and I got drunk. But then every day since, I have had morning sickness. Luckily I haven't drank since.

I'm currently waiting for Tyler right now in my office as I'm working through some files. Nat has been great, she has been getting me some smoothies that have helped massively to settle my stomach. But today, Nat has a hospital appointment so I haven't had my smoothie and unfortunately she won't be back till later today.

Hearing a know on the door I give a subtle, "Come in."

In walks Tyler, wearing a navy suit and looking sharp. I feel a small sensation in between my legs as I look at her figure and professionalism. It's weirdly hot. She takes a seat and adjusts her trousers. All I can think about is her inside me again. God I have issues.

"I got you a paper copy of the work we have done downstairs and also emailed you everything. As we have some events happening, the amount of money in the busines-"

Oh no.

TYLER

I'm stopped in my tracks as she turns to the side and throws up into her bin. Getting up immediately, I get ahold of her hair as the sick falls out of her. Once she's calmed down, I grab some water from her mini bar then picking her up and laying her on the sofa.

Crouching beside her I ask,  "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. I just need one of Nats smoothies, they tend to help."

"How often has this happened?"

She looks down, "Just everyday this week. Well mornings mainly." She almost mutters this.

Wait.

"Have you...um have you taken a test?" I stare into her eyes, as they glisten and she shakes her head.

"Lee bought me one, it's in my cupboard."

After grabbing it then looking at her, she seems exhausted. "Come on, let's go do it. And don't worry I'll be there the whole time."

She nods and gets up, "Follow me. I have a room upstairs. It's like an apartment."

"That's cool."

I follow her upstairs into a room, it has a bathroom and bed, it's like a mini apartment minus a kitchen. Like a suite.

"My younger cousin has one in her company and suggested it for here."

I nod then she walks to the bathroom, brushing her teeth to get rid of the vomit smell and then opens the pregnancy test. I notice her sigh slightly and hands shake. I hold them and kiss them.

"Don't worry, let's just do this and we can see where it goes."

"I have a feeling I'm not pregnant, but sure."

"I have a feeling you are," I mumble.

She sits down on the toilet and pees on the stick, while I'm sat on the bath tub. Once she's done she joins me and sits on the tub, we both sigh and wait for the test. It's feels like it's forever, the longest three minutes of my life. I'm pretty sure both our hearts are racing.

Her alarm blares, startling us and allowing us to know it's time.

"I can't do it...Can you?" She looks at me with tears falling. I nod and take the test softly then turn it around to see the two lines. My heart drops as I'm in pure shock. I had a feeling but this is unbelievable to see. I show her the test being unable to speak, her face says it all...fear. She breaks down and immediately latches onto my arm crying. I hold her tightly until she falls asleep then laid her on the bed.
