CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Tyler's POV

We all ate and Eli woke up, I'm currently feeding him right now. Patrick has been quiet since, he would get up a couple times to talk on the phone then look at me and nod. I don't know how but I know he is telling me it's okay. Eli finishes his food so I wipe his face and he walks over to Clara.

"Mama"

Clara looks at him, smiles widely and picks him up. "Yes baby, what's up?"

He points to upstairs and yawns, it's expected as he only slept for an hour when in Patrick's arms. Clara nods but I stand up and grab him. He smiles weakly, then yawns again. He snuggles his head in my neck and I gave Clara a kiss on her head then walked up stairs. Once I get to Eli's room I put him in his crib and place the blanket.

I walk downstairs and see everyone looking at me.

"What's going on?" They all smirk as for Clara rolls her eyes.

"He has grown up very fast" Morticia says from the kitchen.

"PROFESSOR XAVIER!" We all looked at Lee confused, "His names the same as Professor X" Lee bursts out laughing. I glare at her and she shuts up.

"What do you mean his names Xavier?" Zelda asks confused. I totally forgot I didn't mention the middle name to them. They weren't in the hospital room at the time, just Lee, Bailey, Francesca, Jade and Natalie.

"His names Elijah Xavier Brooks" I say proudly. Zelda, Morticia and Patrick looked at me shocked but joy in their eyes.

"I can't believe it...he will be so proud!" Zelda tells Clara, Clara nods and smiles brightly. We still haven't met her grandparents, and I haven't heard a lot about them.

"I think we should meet them" I say to Clara, her face contours to concern.

"We can but hopefully you won't run away..." She mumbles and Zelda laughs softly at her daughter.

It's Friday. The day we should be sending the money, Patrick told us not to and called us on Thursday saying it's been sorted. We chose not to engage or anything else further. After frequently asking to meet her grandparents, Clara finally let us. We're all in the car, right after work, heading to their home. I look outside the window to see trees, many trees. The area is remote, barely any houses and the ones there are massive. Clara has been silent the whole ride, just concentrated on driving.

We take a right and park in-front of black large gates with a gold C in the middle. It's too hard to see the home, until Clara typed a code in and drove inside. The place is huge, it has trees on either side of the drive thru all the way up to the home it self. Once she parks up I stare at the black mansion in-front of me. Steps leading to the front door which is just as huge with the letter C once again.

Clara gets out and knocks on the door. After a couple minutes a woman comes out. She stares at Clara with a surprised look then it was filled with love and immediately she hugs her. Clara laughs softly, Eli is on my hip staring at the interaction just as I.

The woman looks like an older versions of Clara, slightly older than her mum. She hasn't got grey hairs but slight wrinkles. She smiles widely with black hair and blue eyes. She stands just as tall, her demeanour is very similar to Morticias, very mysterious in the eyes. She's wearing a black blouse and black trousers with black heels. Once's she's done looking at Clara she looks at I and Eli.

"Clara who may these beautiful people be?" She smiles brightly.

Clara laughs softly and kisses me on the cheek, "This is my girlfriend, Tyler and our son, Elijah"
