CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Clara's POV

All morning and afternoon I've been next level stressed. I've had a pile of paperwork to look through and sign off, Nats been stocked with work and the entire office seems to be busy. The past month has been good up until this week. I'm exhausted and just want to lay in bed, eating all day but one can only dream. I have back to back meetings as well as lunches with the board members.

Tyler's been really busy too that she has been staying really late after work. She comes home exhausted but still tries to stay awake. I try my best to avoid the late stays as Tyler's mum can't always have Eli. I feel bad.

It's nearly time to go home but Ty has to stay over once again. I peaked into her office and saw the amount of work she has to do and felt sorry. She tends to be the most busiest other than me here. As she works with the productivity, distribution and finances. Michelle has been eyeing me all day and it's really getting on my last nerves.

"I got your coffee" Nat comes in with a yawn and hands me the drink. I almost instantly devour it, but it's also very hot.

"You should head off, and get some sleep"

"We still have another hour, and it's only Thursday. Let's get today over then Friday is done and we can all sleep" She says lightly then walks off slowly. I giggle slightly as she rubs her eyes. I whip my phone out to text Lee.

ME: Hey stupid, your girlfriend is walking around like a zombie. Please convince her to go home!

LEE: I don't appreciate that abuse, and no. She will get mad about it later.

ME: Dude, she will become a workaholic, just tell her to go home. Please :)

LEE: YOU OWE ME ONE! And tell Satan I said hey!

ME: Satan?

LEE: Sorry autocorrect...I meant Elijah ;)

ME: He is legit an angel! Your the only devil here!

LEE: He is an angel to you guys but I swear he hates me or something! He threw something at me yesterday and laughed!!!

ME: Ahahaha you deserve it!

I put my phone down laughing, that's when I hear a knock on my door and Natalie comes in fidgeting with her hands.

"What's up Nat?"

"Umm I need to go home?" Her face clearing red and a nervous look. I wonder what Lee said.

"Are you asking or telling me?" I tease and smirk.

"Telling?" She looks down and scratched her head.

"I'm joking Nat, you can go. I'll see you in the morning"

She immediately smiles and says her goodbyes.

ME: What did you say to her?

LEE: That I miss my tongue in between her legs ;)

On the way home, I picked up Eli from his grandmothers. As he gets older he gets smarter in a way and weirder according to Lee. I put him down to play and go to the kitchen to start making dinner, I suddenly hear him laugh. I walk to the living room to see his on my phone and on FaceTime. It's Tyler on the other line, She sees me and smiles.

"Hurry up and come home" I pout, she giggles.

"Yeah I'm leaving soon, bye little man" She waves at us with a smile.
