3rd person's POV

The interview is ongoing and Hyunjin went out to get some air. She sat on a bench just outside the police station and smoke. It's not like she doesn't want to stop and quit smoking, it just really helps her to calm down.

"You're smoking again?" voice of her step mom came from behind her and she's about to throw the cigarette away when Mrs Kim spoke

"Why are you throwing it away? You're wasting it" she said and grab the stick from Hyunjin then put it between her lips and take a puff.

"Your girlfriend is looking for you" she said and blow the smoke out of her mouth.

"She's not my girlfriend" Hyunjin said, knowing that it is Heejin who's her mom is talking about.

"Yet" Mrs Kim added and chuckles.

"You still haven't told me the reason of your break up with Soojin... it has been months" the woman said

"How can I tell you when me, myself, don't know what's really the reason of our break up?" Hyunjin said and rest her back against the wooden bench.

"What? You don't know?" Hyunjin nodded

"But you just let her go just like that?" Mrs Kim said and Hyunjin looked at her.

"You think it was easy?" Hyunjin asked her

"I've known her for more than ten years, mom. It was never easy for me" she said and looked away.

"You don't know how hard it was for me to refrain myself from questioning her decision"

"Like what I've said, we've known each other for so long and I'm sure she did it for the both of us. She will never do it if it wasn't for the two of us or ...just for me"

"So you just respected her decision and agreed to break up with her?" Mrs Kim asked and Hyunjin nodded.

"You guys aren't talking to each other anymore?" the woman asked another question, she had witnessed the growth of the two girls and it will be such a shame if the girls' friendship turn into a waste.

"We still do but it's not like how we used to before" Hyunjin answered and Mrs Kim sighed. She knows that this will happen the moment that Soojin and Hyunjin told her that they're in a relationship back then.

"Are you okay now?" the woman asked and look at Hyunjin.

"I guess so..."

"You're just like your father" Mrs Kim chuckles

"What do you mean?" Hyunjin asked

"You two are both weird and stupid"

"As if you're not more stupid than me" Hyunjin mumbles and Mrs Kim heard it.

"Did you just call me stupid?"

"I didn't"

"I heard it you brat"

Hyunjin quickly stand up and run inside the police station and hide behind a policewoman as her stepmom is trying to grab her.

"Do you want me to cut off your allowance for the whole year!?" Mrs Kim exclaimed and try to get Hyunjin.

"Are you guys sure that Mrs Kim isn't Hyunjin's real mother?" Kahei asked as they watch the mother and daughter running around the police station like it is a playground.

"Sometimes they do really seems like mother and daughter but most of the time they bicker like siblings" Haseul said while shaking her head.

"Got you" Mrs Kim grins and put Hyunjin in a headlock.

"YAAA HELP THIS LADY IS HURTING ME! PLEASE PUT HER INSIDE THE CELL AND DON'T EVER LET HER OUT-" Hyunjin was silenced by Mrs Kim's hand

"They are much worse than Sooyoung and Hyejoo oh my god" Jungeun said while looking at Mrs Kim and Hyunjin.
