Heejin's POV

We're in the middle of eating dinner when I received text messages from Hyunjin.

I put my phone down and continue to eat before my dad scold me. I'm wondering what's going on with Hyunjin, she's secretly clingy but it seems like something happened or what.

Hyunjin's POV

My chest feels so heavy right now and Heejin is still eating I guess. I need to let this all out before I do something bad again.

I pick up my phone and dial a number. The person answered it after two rings.

"Hyun? What's up?" I heard her sweet voice

"Can we take a walk, Soo?" I asked and I know she can sense that something happened to me.

"Sure, should I go there?" she asked on the other line

"No need, let's just meet at Han River" I said and she said she'll be there in 15 minutes. I got up and wear a jacket and my shoes. I put on a cap and went outside.

It took me 20 minutes to reach our meeting place and I saw her waiting for me, sitting on one of the tables there.

She saw me and wave her hands to me while wearing a wide smile. Her smile is so contagious that my lips also curled into a smile even though I feel so lonely right now.

"Sorry for disturbing you and making you wait" I said and sit across her.

"You didn't disturb me and you're just in time" she said and a delivery man approached us. He place a couple breads on the table and two bubble tea that's on my favorite flavor. She paid for it and the man left after she thanked him.

"I know there's something bothering you so I bought bread to cheer you up" she said and I chuckled.

"You know me too well, Soojinnie" I said before picking up one of the bread and rip the wrapper open.

"We know each other for over a decade now, Hyunjin. And I know even your smallest gesture means" she said and sip her bubble tea.

"So... What happened?" I sighed

"They fought again" I said quietly

"Are you okay? No nevermind that's actually a stupid question, I know you're not" she's blabbering to herself making me laugh.

"Your eyes looks so puffy" she said with a frown

"Why you didn't call me earlier? I know you needed comfort in times like this"

"I was trying to deal with it by myself" I said

"But did it work?" I shake my head

"See? You should've called me earlier" why does she always act like she's older than me?

"Don't worry, I will next time" I said and she press her forefinger on my lips.

"Shhhh let's not hope for the next time, alright?" instead of answering, I just licked her finger and she quickly retreated it.

"Hyunjin!" she whines and wipe her finger on my clothes. I laugh at her and my chest feels lighter now.

I'm glad we're okay again. This is like the most normal talk we had since our break up, it's almost like we're back to normal besties now and it's nice.
