" mattia can i talk to you for a minute about something?" i fake smile. " alone."
i let go of his dads hand and walk away from everyone. mattia walked infront of me and led us to a room as soon as we went in i closed the door.
" really mattia? your assistant?" i whisper yell. " you could have said something completly different."
" im sorry , what was i supposed to tell him ? a hostage that i have feelings for and i cant seem to let her go." he says.
" mattia he basically wants me to go on a mission with you guys," i tell him. " i dont think i can do that."
" avery i know this is scary but please do it for me," he walks closer to me. " until he leaves."
" im not ready to do this," i say. " i cant evens shot a gun properly."
" yes you can , you literally did 2 days ago," he reminds me. " if you need more help i can train you."
" i dont know mattia this all is happening way to fast," i say.
" hey look at me," he places his hand under my chin and tilt it up. i look up into his eyes and he looks at my lips.
" everything is gonna be fine," he whispers. " im gonna be with you the whole time."
" okay okay," i say back and he kisses me. " just dont be as touchy and act mean like you always are."
" whatever i do as i please," he rolls his eyes.
" yes thats good , just like that," i touch his chest. i turn around to walk out of the room and he slaps my butt.
" just dont do that," i turn back around.
"then dont wear those shorts around me," he smirks.
i walk out of the room as nothing happened and went back into the kitchen.
" is everything okay?" his dad ask.
" nope everything is just fine," i say and sat on the stool next to kairi.
" so whats the plan?" kairi whispers to me.
" we just do as mattia says," i tell him.

my dad called all of us in for a meeting at his building in his conference room. my dad owns several buildings in jersey and he leaves other people to run it while i run my office.
he always told me if i success well he would put half his properties in my name and they will be mine.
i put on a black dress shirt the black dress pants and sprayed to cologne on. every meeting my dad wants everyone to dress in black. he feels like its more elegant and more formal. i walk out of my room and went to avery's to see what she is wearing.
i knock on the door several times until she tells me to come in. i walk into the room and she comes out the bathroom putting on earrings.
she is wearing a long sleeve ,short, black dress that reveals her back a bit with black heels. her hair was curled perfectly to fit her face.

" is this okay?" she asked. " or is it to much?"
" trust me , it is perfect," i say. " you look amazing."
" same for you all i have to do is spray some perfume and we can go," she smiles and walks to her dresser.
we walked downstairs with everyone else and made sure everyone is ready.
" everyone ready?" i asked dave.
" yes sir,"
" alright lets go or we are gonna be late," i order.
everyone walks out and get into their assigned car. me and avery take my car together and we leave first.
" so what is this meeting about?" she asked.
" i have no clue my dad is full of surprises," i sigh. " but dont worry it shouldnt be anything to harsh."
at the meeting
me and avery walk into the building with everyone else. the man at the front desk gave each of us a langured to go around our neck with a card.
we walk to the elevator to go up to the conference room. the building was 12 floors and very high tech.
we found the conference room and walked in, there were already people in their seats and my dad was at the front of the room.
avery and i walked to the table and sat next to each other and kairi and ale sat infront of us. there was a suspicous man sitting next to avery and kept eyeing her.
" keeps your eyes and hands to yourself or ill take them," i say behind her.
the man quickly looks away and avery looks at me. " really mattia?" she says.
" i dont want to hear it and turn around with your fine ass," i order and she smiles.
" welcome fellow panthers as you may know i am back from london for a little while," my dad says and everyone looks upfront.
" todays meeting is about a couple of things but first i would like to thank my son for being and amazing capo," he smiles at me.
" as far as i can see i have left the panthers in amazing care, he has handle business so well that he needed help by bringing in his assistant, avery."
" avery darling , can you stand up for me?" he ask.
avery gets out of her chair and stands up. the same man kept looking at her and it was making me upset.
" i will put a bullet through your face try me," i growl to him.
" isnt she beautiful. anyways we have a mission , well not us but kairi , mattia, alejandro, jessica, mark, and avery." he smiles and avery's body language changes.
i put my hand on her thigh to let her know everything is okay.
" you 6 will meet at a casino to meet up with the cobras and make a deal. if they try to leave without paying you shoot on sight." he explains
" jessica and avery you will accompany them as alejandro and mattia's date , to make it less obvious. they dont know that you are with the panthers , so be mindful." he says.
" will we have body gaurds with us?" jessica ask.
" yes you will be accompanied with 2 bodgaurds," my dad answers. " well thats all for today , you will be going on this mission in 3 days. start training you 6 and dont fail."
