mattia's pov

making it back to my house , i walk straight into the meeting room sending everyone a text. i run back upstairs to grab her things. i hear a few knocks at my front door and i knew it was camila. 

" what is so important you woke me up at 5 in the morning for?" camila walks into my house. 

" just please go into my meeting room , i feel like im about to lose my fucking mind." i lead her there. as i walk in a few panthers were already in there.

i put the stuff on my chair and wait for the others to come in. jessica was followed by kairi and alejandro. after them was mark , ali , and blair walked in. 

i don't know how everyone is gonna feel about this and if they even gonna believe me.

" mattia why are we having a meeting at 5 in the morning for?" kairi asked and i just tell him to sit down. 

" first off sorry that i woke everyone up so early but this is really important. as some of you may know we lost avery a few months ago. it hurt most of us especially me. today i found out some news that may scare or surprise you." i scratch y head trying to figure out how i'm going to word all of this.

everyone looks at me confused or tired. its silent enough that people can probably hear my thoughts out loud.

" i went to the hospital yesterday to pick up avery stuff and turns out there's a lot more than what we thought." i speak again.

" mattia before you start is it good or bad new because i dont have anymore tears to cry?" camila asked. 

jessica holds camila's hand, " just let him speak okay." camila nods her head in response. 

i take the folder off my chair and slam it on the glass table , startling everyone in the room. " the day she was brought to the hospital , they ran some test and turns out she was pregnant with my first child." i say. 

this is enough for me to cry and i still don't know if what the nurse was telling me is true.

" what?" kairi gets up from his chair. there were a few whispers around the room and murmuring. " so your telling me he killed both of them?"

"no not necessarily , um i found an address on a small sheet of paper in the folder telling someone to meet them there. i'm not exactly sure who but it has something to do with avery." i explain.

" mattia what are you trying to say?" ali asked me. 

the room falls silent again. 

" um avery might still be alive," 

ale and kairi look at each other with their mouth open. yeah im shocked too. 

" wait how do you know that?" blair asked walking closer to me. 

" i went to the hospital and one of the nurses where acting weird. i kinda chased her down until she told me that xavier paid her off to help fake avery's death." i told them. 

" how do you know she is telling the truth? we literally saw avery's body laying in the casket." noah implies. 

" i dont know how true it is but we can find out ourselves. i have a location where she could be." i get up from my chair. 

the panthers look around at each other and it made me think. 

" mattia , thats far to dangerous. we barely have any panthers and for all we know he has a whole army standing behind him." mark states. 

" and so do i. i have panthers based on all fronts of the world and i have a mariano on my side. he is always up for a good fight." i growl. 

im getting angry because it seems like everyone is going soft. i promise you that if i get avery back , im going to make these panthers work. 

" mattia , think about this. do you really think mar is gonna risk his cobras lives to help some girl who we thought was dead?" mike asked. 

" mike if you refer to her as some girl again , i promise you it isn't gonna be pretty." ale turns to him in anger. 

" you know what , if you all don't want to help me ill do it myself," i shout. " whether you believe it or not , im saving this girls live. if she isn't alive at least i get to kill xavier."

" do you really want to do this alone?" kairi looks at me. 

" he killed my child and hurt my possible wife , i'm not going down without a fucking fight." 

its still silent and everyone is looking at me. 

" you guys are full of shit , if our boss whats to go into a fight he doesn't go alone , especially when he has people behind him. our job is to be loyal and do whatever we can to protect each other. avery is one of our own , whether you like her or not. i'm fighting beside mattia , if you don't want to you can leave." jessica stands in front of them. 

" im going with you mattia," camila states. 

everyone else begins to agree and my plan can finally come together. 

i hope avery can hold on for just a little longer , im not giving up on he i just need her to give me some more time.
