" so how was your ' surprise vacation'?" camila asked me. 

i didnt want to answer immediately because i know she will tell that im lying. i also dont want her to know that our boss kidnapped me because i saw his friend kill someone.

" it was great , i had alot of fun," i lie. " i got home sick for being away for so long so i came back."

i hate lying to her because she is my bestfriend but i have to do this so me and her dont die. i dont even know if mattia will kill me. 

" ouuuu did you go with our boss? because the way yall both have been gone and came back at the same time together says alot," she smirks.  

" no camila stop it ," i try to fight a smile. " you know i didnt."

" look at you , your blushing now i know your lying," she says. " now tell me where did you guys-"

we both look at the door and mattia walks in the room. speaking of the devil.

" hey avery," he walks behind my desk and kisses my cheek. " did you eat lunch yet?"

i can feel camila screaming right now , " no i didnt , why?" i asked.

" i was gonna order something from the cafe and wondered if you wanted anything," he says in my ear. 

" yeah a ceaser salad is fine and no tomatoes," i tell him. " and did you ever find my purse?"

" oh yeah its in my office you can swing by and get it," he tells me. 

" i will do that then bye nowww," i rush him out.

" noo wait," he says turning my chair facing him. 

" yes mattia," i roll my eyes. " if you can see i am busy."

" well i wanted to give you something before i leave," he smiles .

i know he is about to do something stupid and embarrass me infront of camila and i know she wants to see it.

mattia looks me in my eyes and leans over me face to kiss me. he quickly puts his lips on mines and begin to move our lips in sync. as much as i didnt want to do this infront of camila , i really like it. 

i could tell he sensed that i didnt want camila to know anything about us , thats exactly why he did that. 

he finally released from the kiss and gave me a smile. " see you later avery," he says before walking out. 

i wait until he is fully out the door before turning back around. as i slowly turn around i see camila's mouth wide fucking open.

" bitch you gonna swallow flies if you dont close your mouth,"  i joke.

" i fucking knew it and you was scared to tell me," she says.

" okay okay but you cant say anything to anyone," i tell her.

" girl the only friend i got is you who else im gone tell? my dog?" she chuckles.

" okay go do your work now i got alot of shit to do," i inform her.

" alright bye bitch," she says from the door.

i walk into the kitchen and see alejandro and kairi eating already. i went upstairs to get avery for like 5 seconds and they already touched the food.

" could you two be any fatter?" i roll my eyes. 

" whatever mattia i was hungry," alejandro says. " oh hey avery."
