" where is jacob and the rest of the panthers?" mattia rushes into the house. i have no clue what is going on but i bet its really important. 

" jacob is waiting for you in the meeting room and all of the panthers are collecting shipments." the guard answers.

mattia leads us into the meeting room and he was walking pretty fucking fast. he swings open the brown doors almost hitting mark in the face. the air was cold , way to cold. 

" jacob i need you to tell me what the hell is going on now." mattia commands. 

" okay i know your gonna freak out but the vipers are back." jacob says shaky.

" wait the viper vipers , as in xavier vipers?" kairi ask and jacob nods his head rapidly. 

" no way i thought we ran the out of jersey for good," alejandro states. 

" we need but yesterday..." jacob takes out pictures from under the desk. " a panther spotted xavier and some of his men at the peer."

" im still confused on why this is such a big problem," i scratch my temples confused. 

" oh shit we forgot your new to this whole thing , xavier is mattia's worse enemie. they have hated each other since the age of 12." jessica says. 

" an incident which mattia should tell you took place 1 year ago , involving all of the panthers and vipers." mark clears his throat. 

" he would possibly kill anyone in sight if he knows anyone associates with us." mattia sighed. 

" but you guys are literally the most dangerous people in jersey , you can literally kill him in the blink of an eye." i look at everyone in the room. 

" it doesnt work like that avery. he is quick on his feet and he is very sneaky." kairi states. 

mattia's eyes widen , " does he know avery is with us?" mattia ask. 

jacob nods his head slowly , but what does this have to do with me. 

" shit!" mattia growls. " jacob call the panther house in italy and get them a flight down here by tmr night. tell noah to get more body guards for the house and any time avery leaves the house make sure she has atleast 3-4 guards with her." 

" on it boss," jacob exits the room. 

" mattia we are in deep shit." kairi says to him. 

" i know i know , ill see you guys later. avery baby um lets go to our room." mattia says. 

he garbs my hand lightly and we walk out of the room to upstairs. he opens the door and slams it . 

" mattia , i want to know the incident that happened and what it has to do with me?" i ask him. he takes his hands out of his pockets and runs his fingers through his hair. 

" okay sit down," mattia commands. i sit on the small couch and i look at mattia.

" 1 year ago the panthers and vipers went to war. we found out that they were the ones who killed my mother. my dad and i tried to have a proper meeting with the family but everything went to hell when xavier shot me in my leg. i drew for my weapon and killed his sister. my dad shot his mom." 

" so blood for blood?" i say.

" yes , the reason why he is back now is to get even and that is were you come into place." he sighs. " he is here to get even."

" so he wants to kill me?" i ask starting to get worried. 

" he wants to take you from me but he might have other things in mind." mattia answers. " he had a spy down here that has been watching our every moves." 

" so that was the guy who was at bora bora ," i tell him. 

" yes , so now im going to have to watch you like a hawk and your gonna have to tag along with me everywhere. that doesnt sound to bad right?" he smiles trying to make me feel better.

" i mean if you put it that way...." i look around. 

" hey , look you would be fine okay. i promise i wont let anything happen to you." he holds my cheek. 

" i want to join the mafia." i blurt out , i dont know if i was being serious or not.

" wait are you joking?" mattia ask. 

" no , i want to be i the mafia."
