After spending some time in the small building, searching for anything that could help us, we came to the conclusion that someone had used this place to hide from those creatures outside. But from the huge stain we found beneath some fallen items, I didn't think it ended well. And it was most likely we are going to have a similar fate it we don't get out of this cage right now.

Whoever was here, tried their best to keep themselves alive, judging from the black stains on a broken rod. I saw Jungkook pick it up, grimace at the stain before shrugging off and moving on to find something else useful.

"How we do get out of his place while those things are waiting out side?" Hoseok asked, glancing out of the window. The screeching had decreased a lot. Mostly silent apart from the silent cries. It was as if those things were waiting. Waiting for the light go out. Wait it for it to be completely dark before they can attack.

"How about that window?" I asked, pointing to the only closed window in the room.

Namjoon sighed and chewed on his lip, "It's jammed shut. But... maybe we can break it open. But we-we have to be careful so as to not get their attention."

I nodded, wrapping his hand around one of the broken pieces of a metals rails, hanging loose from the metal shelves. I shivered in fear at the thought that those creatures outside, can easily tear apart metal shelves without even bleeding.

I struggled a little, trying to shake the loose piece of the metal. In the end Jin helped me. Pulling on the metal rail with a harsh tug and it came off lose. However from the force of Jin's strength, the shelve rattled. Causing the creatures outside to scream out loud once again.

All of us froze in our spots, counting the seconds and waiting. Waiting to see if they would attack right now or if we still had some chances left.

And I guess we did when nothing happened. Those creatures still screamed and screeched but did not make the effort to move forward.

"Is it me or do they calm down considerably when it's quiet for some time?" Jin asked, frowing as he glanced out of the window. Squinting his eyes to see past the bright lights. And as if to test his theory, all of us stayed quiet. Motionless, even though it was required. I had my back rested against a wall, knees folded, as I counted the seconds once again. It was calming and at the same filling me with anxious. With each second that passed, it brought a sense of security that I have survived a second longer. As silly as it seemed, every second right now, in this situation, seemed like an hour at best.

"Okay." I heard Namjoon whisper and get up from where he is sitting. One by one we slowly got up, glancing towards the window. I was little surprised to see those creatures, no longer standing on two legs, down on all their fours, standing still almost as if they were frozen. Facing away from the light And if it wasn't for the occasional clicks and cries I could've guessed they had forgotten about us.
