Siren blared through the building

Siren blared through the building. The red light reaching to every corner. Alarming people of the chaos that has been unleashed. Footsteps echoed through the emptying hallways. People ran for their lives. Screaming to be saved. But anybody who heard them were begging the same. And those who didn't listen, were the ones they were running away from. They had made a mistake. And they realized it far too late.

Hell had just opened up. And god forbid the poor souls who dares comes against them. However, thankfully, this was a place no one could ever find. Much less, reach. Hell was unleased. But it was trapped in one place. And the people, prayed from the depths of their heart as blood oozed out of their bodies, that it stays this way.

"Please, please, please." They whispered under their breaths. Curled in the darkest corner of the buildings. Hoping to be left alone. Hoping to be never found. But alas, death must come. For they were in their place.

And the woman who created this hell, stood with a horrified expression inside her office. Watching bodies falling down on the ground on after another. Blood being sprayed on the previously pristine white walls. She didn't try to hide like the others. Because that would be mercy even for a little moment. She knew she deserved punishment and it came due. But also because she knew better than anyone, there was no point in hiding. There was no stopping this. The door to his office was burst open. Tearing off its hinges and falling loudly on the ground. She didn't fight back and accepted her death. She created this. She must pay for this.

The captain sighed, switching off his phone. His eyes flickered up towards the see. In the night, the silver of the moon fell ever so gracefully over the dark ink. The sea was calm. So was his heart. This was his last time to set sail one more time as the captain. And he was proud to call himself the captain of such magnificence of a ship.

Tomorrow, the beauty will set sail. The captain could barely contain his excitement. Once more, he would closer to the sea. Once more, his nights will be filled with the sounds of the ocea crashing against the hull the ship. The lull of the rhythmic swaying of the ship.

He sighed deeply. Even from his hotel, he could almost smell the salty ocean air. This was his last time, and he was going to make every single second count. Because when so close to what he loved, even six months felt far too less.

So, after looking one last at the vastness of sea outside his window, he turned off the light and let himself being covered by the blanket of sleep.
