Chapter 19

Sharon handed Steve a photo of Bucky. The photo the Task Force released to the world. Steve looked at it for a few minutes before looking back and setting the photo down.

"Why would the Task Force release this photo to begin with?" Steve asks

"Get the word out, involve as many eyes as we can?" Sharon answers, not quite sure why they did.

"Right. It's a good way to flush a guy out of hiding. Set off a bomb, get your picture taken." Steve looks at Sam and me. "Get seven billion people looking for the Winter Soldier," Steve added

"You're saying someone framed him to find him?" Sharon says

"Steve, we looked for the guy for two years and found nothing," I told him

"We didn't bomb the UN. That turns a lot of heads." Steve said, looking at me before looking back at Sharon when she starts talking "Yeah, but that doesn't guarantee that whoever framed him would get him. It guarantees that we would." Sharon says, taking a second to think about it, furrowing her eyebrows.

Steve looks at the TV in the corner of the room "Yeah." 

When he says that I furrow my eyebrows and look at what he's looking at. I see Bucky and the guy writing stuff on a piece of paper. I tilt my head slightly, thinking about it.

Suddenly the lights went out and all I could see were faces and darkness. I slowly stood up and looked at Steve, my face showing my confusion.

Everyone outside of the glass office, that the four of us are in, are running around and freaking out. 

Steve looks at Sharon "Sub-level five, East Wing." Sharon told Steve, to which all of us start walking out and going to where Sharon said.

We ran into a room with a bunch of guards lying on the floor, my eyes immediately looking around, looking for any incoming. Steve walked into the room more and knelt to a guard on the floor, seeing if he was still alive.

"Help me." A random voice said, making my head immediately towards the noise.

"Help" a male lies on the ground, holding his stomach. Sam and I stay behind while Steve fast walks towards the male.

"Get up," Steve grabs the guy by his shirt and lifts him, slamming him to a wall.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Steve asks roughly

"To see an empire fall." The guy says.

Sam started walking into the room as well and right as he passed the door frame, Bucky came out, aiming for Sam's head but Sam ducks down, which makes Bucky hit the wall behind Sam.

I run towards them when bucky lifts Sam by his chin and throws him across the room, making Sam hit the glass container Bucky used to be in. I teleport on Bucky's neck and try to flip him over but he's too strong and yanks me off of him. Which makes me also go flying across the room, but me hitting the wall.

Bucky swings for Steve but he ducks under and punches Bucky in the face. Bucky kicks Steve in the stomach making Steve fly backward and hit the ground. They had gone into the other room and I was trying to catch my breath since I got the wind knocked out of me. I crawl towards Sam and put my hand on his shoulder. "You good?" I ask.

Sam groans "Ya, You?" I nod and look outside of the room, where Bucky and Steve had gone.

Sam and I both saw the guy that was 'Interviewing' Bucky. He looked down in the elevator that had a hole in it.
