AJ's POV

Steve went out to talk to Sharon while Sam and I turned on the news, what we saw was not what we expected. Sam ran out to go get Steve and came back with Steve and Sharon.

"A bomb hidden in a news van ripped through the UN building in Vienna. More than 70 people have been injured. At least 12 are dead, including Wakanda's King T'Chaka. Officials have released a video of a suspect who they have identified as James Buchanan Barnes… The Winter Soldier. The infamous HYDRA agent linked to numerous acts of terrorism and political assassinations." My eyes were wide and I looked up at Steve, as I was sitting on the couch. The TV news reporter said before Sharon spoke. "I have to go to work."

Natasha was in that building.

Natasha's POV

I walk to a bench that was next to the bench T'Challa was sitting on.

"I'm very sorry," I say, sitting down on the bench next to his. He looks at me and then back to looking straight.

"In my culture… death is not the end. It's more of a stepping-off point. You reach out with both hands… and Bast and Sekhmet, they lead you into the green veldt… where you can run forever." T'Challa explains.

"That sounds very peaceful," I reply.

"My father thought so. I am not my father." He adds.

"T'Challa… Task Force will decide who brings in Barnes." I tell him, but he stands up with his hand tightly into a fist "Don't bother, Ms. Romanoff. I'll kill him myself." T'Challa walks past me and I exhale scaredly. My phone starts ringing and I put it up to my ear.

"Yeah?" I speak.

"You all right?" Steve's voice comes through the phone.

"Uh, yeah, thanks. I got lucky." I say, looking around and furrowing my eyebrows. I stand up and talk again "I know how much Barnes means to you. I really do. Stay home. You'll only make this worse. For all of us. Please." I beg.

"Are you saying you'll arrest me?" Steve asks.

"No," I reply quickly. "Someone will. If you interfere. That's how it works now." I tell him.

"If he's this far gone, Nat, I should be the one to bring him in," Steve explains.

"Why?" I ask

"Because I'm the one least likely to die trying." Is the last thing I heard from him before he hung up.

I look at my phone and put my arm back down my side, cursing under my breath from how frustrating he is. And this whole situation makes it even more frustrating and scary.

Sam, Steve, and I had dressed in our undercover clothes, Hats, and sunglasses.

I'm wearing a black leather jacket, with a t-shirt and leggings, both being black. Along with my hat and sunglasses. My hair also being in a ponytail. Wearing black boot heels as well. I have a problem.
