The Powerful Duo {A Marvel Story}

Chapter 1

AJ and Genevieve, two little girls living in Asgard, were having so much fun playing on the Asgardian playground when AJ decided to grab Genevieve's arm and drag her to the Bifrost.

"Come on! Let's go see Heimdall!" AJ yelled while still running with Genevieve behind her, not declining the out-of-the-blue idea.

When they arrived, they noticed Heimdall wasn't there but had left his sword, a key to opening the Bifrost. With their curious nature, they couldn't resist opening it, not knowing the consequences.

In a dazzling burst of light, the two girls found themselves hurtling through space, landing with a thud on planet Earth. As they rubbed their eyes and cleaned off their clothes, they realized they were no longer on their planet but on a planet, they did not know of. They look around and notice that they are lying in a dead grassy field, not far from the loud noises coming from the city. They see dozens of people walking around and cars zooming past.

As they move closer, the noises just get louder and louder until they smell the most delicious scent they have ever sniffed before. It smelled salty and savory, it didn't smell like some things on Asgard.

"What is that delicious smell?" Asked Genevieve, wondering where this smell was coming from. They both look around, trying to find this aroma in the air. "Is that it?" Asks AJ, pointing at a food cart with Cheeseburgers, Pizzas, Pretzels, and so many more food items.

Eager to immerse themselves in the local culture, they went up to this cart and asked "What is that? It looks so yummy. Ooo! What's this one!" AJ asks excitedly while Genevieve just salivates at the thought of eating all of these foods.

"Where are your parents?" Asked the lady who owns the food cart. The girls stay silent, not knowing what to do or say. "Are you two alone out here?" The lady questions once more before a young blonde woman comes up behind the girls.

"So sorry! They walked away from me when I was looking in the other direction, you girls need to be more careful!" The lady explains to the vendor, putting her hands on AJ and Genevieve's shoulders. The girls look at the woman confused and then express each other's confusion to one another.
