With a knock upon her door, Y/N quickly opened it, finding Levi on the other side.
"Morning, Captain."
She gasped at the fresh white coat in his hands, her hands touching her heart.
"It looks good!"

He raised it, pointing to a small stain on the sleeve.
"I was unable to remove this. I was tempted to just throw it out but—"
Y/N shook her head, "that's been there since I was born. But, thank you for cleaning it."
She took the coat from him, slipping it on and turning back inside her room. She was inviting him inside, but he continued to stand at the door.
"You probably should stop wearing it all the time. Otherwise, I will throw it out."

Y/N waved her hand, "I'll try and keep it clean if it really bugs you that much. I didn't think that—Captain?"
She had just noticed that he remained in the hall.
"Do you want—some tea?"
Levi had been offered one of his weaknesses. Upon her desk was a small kettle, so he stepped inside, "why not?"
Y/N pulled out her chair for him, opting to stand while he indulged.
"I'm terribly sorry about last night," she brought up, pulling her microscope closer, "I didn't mean for you to have to drag us back like that."

Taking a sip of her tea, fingers clasping the cup around the rim, he shrugged, "You both are lightweight. At least Eren awoke halfway back."
She hummed, changing out her sample that she was observing, "I was being irresponsible. I should know better, considering my age."
Levi commented, "I've worked with Hange for years. I'm rather used to that kind of stuff."
It didn't make Y/N feel less guilty.
"Well, thanks for listening to me anyway. I know more than I did before and that's all that matters."

Levi continued to drink while she worked in silence. Y/N gave him quick looks every now and then, still confused by his strange way of drinking.
"The expedition is tomorrow. Do you think you're ready?"
She paused, chewing her gums, "No, not really."
"I think you should be more confident."
"Really? I fail in our training all the time."
"Yet, you learned within a month compared to the year we usually offer."
Y/N bit her lip, "I guess."
