"Levi? Y/N?"
Levi was quick to wake up, peeking his eyes open to find not only the sun pouring through the window but also Hange curiously watching over him.

"What are you two doing?"
Beside him, Y/N was still asleep almost like she'd never done it in her life.
"You were sleeping. In a bed. Are you feeling okay?"
He sat up, rubbing his head, "I'm fine. What are you doing here?"
"Am I not allowed to check up on my friends?"
"No, you weirdo."
Levi got up, stretching his back while Hange pouted.
"Well, I bet Y/N will be very happy to see me!"

Grabbing the sleeping woman, Hange shook her back and forth without even a stir.
"Wake up, my darling."
Swiping her hair to the side, Hange delivered a hit that did the job.
"What—is it morning?"
"Yep! How are you doing?"
Y/N rubbed her eyes with the backs of her hands, her scar itching.
"I'm fine."
Hange hugged her close, "Something on the mind?"

Y/N shrugged, "I'd like to visit Sina if possible. I need to tell Nathan's mother about—everything."
"Oh yes, that's no problem."
Levi crossed his arms, "I can't have her be in public for too long."
Hange stuck their tongue out at him once his back was turned, "What district?"
"Orvud."
He rolled up his sleeves, taking his cape from a rack, "That should be fine."
"You're coming with?"
"Of course I am. The more scouts with you, the more believable your job is."

Hange sighed, swiftly picking up Y/N in their arms, "Well, we'll be waiting for you downstairs. Y/N and I need to get ready!"
Y/N was relieved that Hange was in good spirits, but she was struggling to awaken with the burden of the future heavy on her back.

Y/N watched the dull city pass by before letting the curtain drape back over the window.
Within their carriage, Hange joined her side, Levi across.
"Orvud is so boring," Hange sighed.
"Always has been," Y/N mumbled in reply.
